A.J. Gale(17) Manchester Monarchs

AJ Gale

Undrafted 5th year left wing A.J. Gale(17) started the season pretty much where he’d spent the last four of five years of his pro career, in the Central Hockey League, making waves.

Re-signed with Denver Cutthroats, he jumped out to a quick start in 12 games scoring 5 goals and 12 assists.

The small-ish 5’11” 193 lbs. forward was simply picking up where he left off in the 2012/2013 campaign, when he potted 46 goals and 38 assists, good enough for first in tallies and 3rd overall in the league for total points.

He was called up, sigining a pto to join Manchester Monarchs a month ago and has a appeared in 9 AHL games. Through the first 8 contests he only had one marker but increased that recently by another 2 with a pair of strikes, including the game-winner.

He played 4 games last season with Lake Erie Monsters with no points but the 26-year old may finally be finding his scoring touch in the higher league.
