First round pick (#5 overall) in the 2009 draft, LA Kings‘ newbie center Brayden Schenn(11) found himself assigned to the team’s AHL affiliate, Manchester Monarchs for a 14-day conditioning stint but the cards didn’t fall right for the youngster as he’s been shipped back to his junior team in the WHL, Brandon Wheat Kings for the remainder of the 2010/2011 season.
I’m glad I got the chance to see him play in Worcester at the DCU with the Monarchs. He was a point per game player in the AHL in the 7 games he played.
