Undrafted, left wing Matt Lindblad(20) leaves his final year of Dartmouth Big Green hockey on the shelf and signed a 2-year entry level deal with Boston Bruins.
He recently joined minor league affiliate Providence Bruins on an ato and scored an insurance goal for the team in his AHL debut. He followed it up with a pair of assists in each of his next two games and sits at 5 points in 4 contests with a +3 rating.
The 6′ 185 lbs. forward has seen plenty of ice time in all game situations and looks to be another new asset in their run for a first Calder Cup Championship since 1999.
He is sure to attend the parent club’s upcoming summer rookie camp and continue to put his talents on display.
The 23-year old was also an invite to Chicago Blackhawks‘ 2012 prospect camp.
