Unrestricted free agent goaltender Mike McKenna(1) signed a 1-year, 2-way deal with Ottawa for ’11/’12.
He’s likely to spend most of the season with Binghamton as the back-up to Calder Cup MVP Robin Lehner(40) but with injuries or if Lehner gets the nod in net, he could see some more time in the NHL as he did last season with New Jersey and for the Lightning in ’08/’09.
