Jokerit‘s 7th year right wing Nicklas Jensen(71) signs on to stay another season with an option for a 2nd through 2020/2021.
He produced a solid 21 goals and 18 assists with a +12 rating through 48 KHL games in 2018/2019 to earn the extension.
It will be his third (and possibly fourth) campaign with the team.
He had career high marks of 32 goals and 23 assists for 55 points with Hartford Wolf Pack while under contract to New York Rangers before heading overseas.
The recently turned 26-year old seems to be just getting started and if he can continue scoring may get another look from an NHL team.
He’s only played 33 games in the big league with all of his 3-3-6 points coming in his 2nd season for Vancouver Canucks.
