Lindenwood University Lions‘ junior center Jake Southgate(21) scores a college best 8 goals and 16 assists in 30 games last season with a 0 rating that he takes into the transfer portal to next skate at St. Cloud State University Huskies in 2026/2027.

The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward did 2 SJHL seasons, scoring big before committing.

From North Battleford, SK, the 23-year old will likely continue to take up his game.

3rd year center Jacob Hayhurst(15) is most definitely off to his quickest start, getting 4 goals and 3 assists in 5 ECHL games for a +6 rating for 9-0 Worcester Railers and already has been loaned up to Springfield Thunderbirds for a pair of AHL appearances.

The undrafted 5’10” 180 lbs. forward had a strong 2nd session, scoring easy bests 15 goals and 33 assists in his 1st season with current club.

He also scored very decently in college, especially as a sophomore and junior at RPI Engineers, when he got 23 points in both frames, but did it a 2nd time in 7 less outings.

For his senior year, he maybe looked to take his game up a bit and transferred to University Of Michigan Wolverines with a decent enough showing.

The 25-year old from Mississauga, ON must be smiling pretty big.

He scored the insurance goal last night to secure his team’s historic season start.

After 10 goals and 12 assists in 25 games last season, he gets a look for 2023/2024 from Coachella Valley Firebirds and we believe this is a player who has played himself up.

He is actually reassigned to affiliate Kansas City Mavericks and blows up regular season and playoff scoring to be a single step away from the league championship, but he will take his game elsewhere for the future, signing with Vasteras IK of HockeyAllsvenskan, where he should absolutely blow up on the stat sheet in Sweden’s tier 2.

In 51 games, he scores 20 goals and 26 assists, maybe looks for the next step up and signs with Grizzlys Wolfsburg of DEL and scores respectably.

Looks like he is continue to push and next signs in Liiga with Jukurit, which will no doubt be his being league challenge yet.

University Of Michigan Wolverines‘ senior right wing Joshua Eernisse(14) we think will be 2025/2026 dream unrestricted free agent for the right NHL team to pick up as his tournament play winds down, which could lead to a 2025 NCAA Division 1 Championship for the current #1 rank.

The 6’3″ 216 lbs. forward has 9 goals and 5 assists in 18 games with a +14 rating.

He had 14 goals and 7 assists as a freshman at University St. Thomas Tommies before transferring.

From Apple Valley, MN, the 23-year old is popping at the best possible time.

As he finishes up his final year with 38 games, scoring 11 goals and 8 assists to earn a 1-year NHL entry level deal with Columbus Blue Jackets for 2026/2027.

He is sent to affiliate Cleveland Monsters and signed to an pto for 1 AHL appearance.

UMass Minutemen freshman defenseman Mikey Adamson(6) appeared in only 11 games in his 1st season, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist, enters the transfer portal and will try something new at Sacred Heart University Pioneers in 2023/2024.

We think the 5’9″ 170 lbs. blue liner finds renewed energy in Atlantic Hockey.

He did 2 USHL seasons with Sioux City Musketeers, winning a 2019 Clark Cup in his 2nd campaign.

Undrafted, the 21-year old from Quincy, MA will be one to watch as he transitions.

Serving as captain in his senior year, he scores 4 goals and a new best by a mile 30 assists in a college best 40 games.

When tournament play concludes, he signs a 1st pro deal with South Carolina Stingrays.

In 7 ECHL games, he got 2 goals and 3 assists with a +2 rating, then has added 1 goal and 1 assist as their playoff push continues.

Norwich University Cadets‘ sophomore left wing David Overbeeke(19) has played only 23 games over 2 seasons and enters the transfer portal to try something different and will play his college hockey at University Of Arizona Wildcats, 2026/2027.

The 6’2″ 195 lbs. forward has never been the greatest scorer through 2 NAHL junior sessions.

From Wilton, CT, the 23-year old may find more open space to connect in ACHA.

Western Michigan University Broncos‘ senior defenseman Carter Berger(3) was a 3-year transfer from University Of Connecticut Huskies, where he was always a plus player on ice, but didn’t exactly put up a pile of points.

In 5 games with his new college club the 6′ 201 lbs. blue liner has a goal and 3 assists with a +4, which looks to blow the lid off his previous highs.

He definitely has an offensive upside, as seen in his 2nd BCHL season with Victoria Grizzlies, scoring an absolute eye-popping 27 goals and 36 assists in 54 games, earning him top honors for goals and points by a d-man in the league.

A Florida Panthers‘ 4th round pick in the 2019 draft (#106 overall), the North Vancouver, BC native is easily eyeing an NHL entry level deal in a few months time.

He is able to take up his totals quite nicely in 2 years with an additional graduate frame and leaves his new school with a +28 rating.

Unsigned, he returns “home” agreeing to a 1-year AHL deal with Hartford Wolf Pack.

He does pretty well, scoring 8 goals and 25 assists in 67 ECHL games to earn himself a new deal 2-way for 2025/2026 with Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

In 11 games in the lower league, he scores 1 goal and 8 assists, but maybe gets a little antsy looking for another level and signs in the tough to play Tipso Extraliga with HKM Zvolen.

After 18 games, scoring 5 goals and 12 assists with a +4 rating, he decides to take his game elsewhere for potential further growth possibilities and signs with Leksands IF of HockeyAllsvenskan for 2026/2027.

Clarkson University Golden Knights‘ freshman defenseman William-Charles Bishop(26) scored 1 goal and 4 assists in 31 games last year, but maybe wanted something a little more and enters the transfer portal and will next play his college hockey at St. Lawrence University Skating Saints, 2026/2027.

The 6′ 201 lbs. blue liner did 4 years QMJHL, recording 35 assists in his final frame before coming to college.

From Baie d’Urfee, QC, the 22-year old may do better with the opposing ECAC team.

Johnstown Tomahawks‘ strong scoring forward Jason Ahearn(10) choose Niagara University for his college hockey and further academic development.

He’s struck for 23 goals and 26 assists in 41 NAHL games with a +23 rating on a really good team.

The 5’11” 170 lbs. pivot should have equal success in NCAA Division 1 Atlantic Hockey, when he arrives later this year.

After 3 seasons, twice as captain with new college best numbers, 19 goals and 20 assists in 36 games with a +6 rating as a junior, but he will enter the transfer portal and next looks to skate Hockey East with UMASS-Lowell Riverhawks in 2025/2026.

He comes away with 13 goals and 6 assists in 35 games and it was likely a little harder than where he came from, but he managed to be a good contributor that he takes to a 1st pro contract with Indy Fuel.

In 8 games, he comes away with a 1st ECHL goal and 3 assists with a +2 rating, but will need a new deal for 2026/2027.

Simon Fraser University Red Leafs‘ freshman left wing Ridge Dawson(10) had to pick a new school, as his was going belly up after 2026/2027 and commits to the new D1 program at Maryville University Saints, as a sophomore in 2026/2027.

The 5’8″ 156 lbs. forward did 4 BCHL years with Trail Smoke Eaters, serving as captain in his last frame, scoring 40+ points 2 seasons in a row.

He had 4 goals and 3 assists in 20 games last year.

From Kelona, BC, the 22-year old will likely continue to pick up the pace with his new club.
