Philadelphia Flyers‘ 4th year right wing Nicolas Aube-Kubel(62) gets the nod to return to the show a couple of months into the new frame after another decent 5 goal, 3 assist start in 28 AHL games for affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
He skated 9 games last season but had no points with a +1 rating before being returned.
In his first game up this time he recorded an assist, then followed it with a 2nd helper and a first NHL goal a few outings later.
The 23-year old was signed to a one-year extension but looks to be carving out a spot in the lineup for himself and looking to earn a couple more years with the club.
