Connor Sweeney(13) committed to University Of New Hampshire Wildcats after his sophomore year at Pingree School, where he managed a bit of an eye popping 31 goals, 12 assists in 29 USHS-Prep games.
He would switch schools to Lawrence Academy for the next two seasons, and did equally as good, while also get his first tastes of Boston Little Bruins 18U AAA and junior hockey with future team Islanders Hockey Club, for a heck of a start, 2 goals in a single USPHL/NCDC appearance before shutting down for the summer.
The big 6’3″ 205 lbs. power forward would next head up to the BCHL for a session up north with Trail Smoke Eaters.
Heading back home to his first junior team, he played 26 regular season games, scoring just a goal but 11 assists, then breaking out for 3 goals and 2 assists in 5 playoff appearances.
The 21-year old should be able to step right into Hockey East play.
He finishes up his senior year with a college best 2 goals and 6 assists in 35 games and will head off to France2, signing a 1st pro deal with Cholet Dogs for 2025/2026.
