After 4 years of junior hockey with Utica Jr. Comets, including a debut season, running up the scoresheet to an almost 2-point per game player (29 goals, 33 assists) in 39 USPHL Premiere games, center John Gutt(93) decides to stay in town and commits to Utica College Pioneers for 2022/2023.
He graduated to NCDC immediately and became a big scorer in the upper league, leaving his 2nd year with a junior career high 18 goals and 36 assists in 49 games.
The 21-year old, only 5’9″ 154 lbs. forward is sure to light NCAA D3 hockey up like crazy is what we’re looking at, even as a freshman.
