8th year right wing Ty Loney(27) decides it’s time to potentially head for another avenue in hockey, giving up a fruitful playing career after recording 5 goals and 6 assists in a shortened 2nd campaign for EC Red Bull Salzburg, but was able to take part in a 2nd straight ICEHL Championship.
The 6’3″ 205 lbs. forward leaves after playing 185 games where he leaves from, 162 for University Of Denver Pioneers, where he recorded 10+ goals and 10+ assists on 3 occasions, 96 ECHL and 80 AHL for quite the tally.
Tough to say what the 31-year old from Valencia, PA does next, but chances to see him coach where he is could be high on a list.
