UMASS-Lowell Riverhawks‘ Swedish-born freshman defenseman August Classon(53) enters the transfer portal to next skate his college hockey at Long Island University Sharks, as a sophomore in 2026/2027.
The 6′ 185 lbs. blue liner only played 9 games last season with no points.
He did only 1 season of NAHL after some juniors and youth hockey back home before committing.
