SUNY Cortland Red Dragons‘ sophomore defenseman Matthew Despirit(5) enters the transfer portal to go to school at his home state school, Buffalo State University Bengals for his junior year in 2026/2027.
The 5’11” 170 lbs. blue liner did 3 NAHL years with Northeast Generals.
He did all his youth hockey at home and we think this move solidifies his game.
