I think we may have seen the last of Benn Ferriero(21) in Worcester. In 5 games played with San Jose he has 3 goals and 1 assist.

Rookie defenseman Jake Muzzin(3) found himself on the opening night roster with the LA Kings to start this season and has played 11 games with the team while shuttling back and forth a bit between the coasts. So far he’s performing really well with the Monarchs in a handful of games played.
Originally drafted by Pittsburgh in 2007 but signed with the Kings in early 2010, he shows much promise.
There must be something in the drinking water, because the LA Kings goalie prospects in the last few seasons have been nothing short of outstanding.
First there was Jonathan Bernier, then Jonathan Quick and now Jeff Zatkoff(39) continues the success rate for the Monarchs between the pipes. Time will tell if there’s room for Zatkoff in the NHL but right now his chances look decent.
