former Worcester Sharks center Tom Cavanagh(41) was back on the ice at the DCU Center as a Manchester Monarch, a team he signed on with just recently.

i caught a puck at the game.  it actually kind of fell in my lap.

former Providence Bruins’ defenseman Jonathan Sigalet(5) was back east, playing in Lowell vs. the Devils with his new team, the Syracuse Crunch.  the Crunch like the Bruins are enjoying spring activities that don’t involve hockey, because neither team made the postseason.

Sharks’ rookie center and AHL Canadian first team All Star, Logan Couture(9)mixes it up in front of All Star game teammate, Monarchs’ goalie Jonathan Bernier(45), while getting some shove love from defenseman Viatcheslav Voynov(76). Sharks dominated this one 5-2.

after missing 26 games with a “lower body injury” Worcester Sharks’ captain Ryan Vesce(17) scored two goals in his first game back. here he looks pass but fires the wrister past Portland Pirates’ goalie Jhonas Enroth(1) for the eventual game-winner in the 3-1 win at the DCU Center on Wednesday, February 24. the win moved the Sharks into first place in the Atlantic Division, two points over Portland.
