At the start of his 2nd season as assistant captain with Lac-St. Louis Lions of the QMAAA, defenseman Dylan Finlay(26) would commit to University Of Vermont for 2021/2022 after scoring a previous session tying 26 assists,

The 6’1″ 170 lbs. blue liner was definitely showing off his abilities to head man the puck for scoring chances.

He would next leave for the BCHL to join Powell River Kings, where he wouldn’t get a goal, but was good for 18 helpers.

The Quebec native decided to head to America for 2020/2021 amid a pandemic that was going to make the campaign tough anyway you put it, but the 19-year old was able to play himself a decent run for Maryland Black Bears, getting a pair of goals and 9 assists with a +1 in 33 NAHL games.

He was even better in the playoffs striking for 2 goals and 2 assists in 8 contests and should be ready for some Hockey East play.

Switching things up, he’s heads to University Of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, which last him the last 3 seasons.

For 2025/2026, his senior year, he will head to Northeastern University Huskies, where he will finally face some Hockey East action.

Chicago Blackhawks‘ 7th round pick in the 2021 draft, Providence College Friars‘ junior transfer from a pair of years at University Of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs, defenseman Connor Kelley(13) is off to a hot start with his new team, having scored 3 assists in his 1st 3 games.

Almost oddly, the 6’1″ 190 lbs. blue liner didn’t put up many points for his old school team.

He actually hasn’t really ever put up points, even through 2 years with the USNTDP, so may be breaking new ground.

At 20-years old, we fully expect the Maple Grove, MN native to finish college before looking at pro possibilities.

Through 5 years of college hockey, he leaves a +34 player.

He doesn’t sign with his draft club, but instead inks a 2-year AHL deal with Colorado Eagles, where he should do well.

UMass Minutemen right wing Ryan Sullivan(8) will do his senior year at Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks for 2023/2024.

He was a decent scorer for 2 years of USHL junior with Sioux Falls Stampede, but hasn’t equaled the task in college.

The 5’11” 190 lbs. forward from Grosse Pointe, MI started his hockey in the Honeybaked system.

He may find NCHC play a bit easier than Hockey East, but we shall see.

As a graduate player, he would become captain and score a college best 6 goals and 4 assists in 34 games.

He takes these marks to a 1st pro contract with Savannah Ghost Pirates, where in 14 games, he has 2 assists.

Providence Bruins welcome in 2nd year right wing Jimmy Lambert(60) after scoring 11 goals and 13 assists in 27 games with a +6 rating on reassignment with Worcester Railers from contract club, Bridgeport Islanders.

He scored 1 goal and 6 assists in 33 games up with a +1.

The 6′ 176 lbs. former University Of Michigan Wolverines wasn’t a huge scorer at school.

Originally from Newcastle, GBR, the 26-year old could see time playing for rival Maine Mariners.

In 21 ECHL games this season, he’s tied his 13 assists, but will still need to add on tallies to his 4 to get him past those pretty amazing marks of 11 as a rookie.

He does well last season, tying his goals at 11 and 23 assists is a new career league best.

Though he appears in only 10 AHL games, he is wanted to return to continue and work on his game.

Mostly dispatched to Maine, he is scoring on a point-per-game pace and decides to branch out for some more difficult hockey in DEL and agrees to terms with Grizzlys Wolfsburg.

After 14 games with 2 goals and 4 assists, he is liked and asked to return for 2025/2026 as a Grizzlys.

UMASS Minutemen junior defenseman Ryan Ufko(85) looks to challenge his 8 goal mark, set as a sophomore with 5 already in 16 games, but may not touch that 26 assist tally he posted in his freshman frame.

He has 9 in the current session with a +6 rating.

The 5’10” 181 lbs. blue liner did 2 seasons with Chicago Steel and won the 2021 Clark Cup Championship in his 2nd campaign.

A Nashville Predators‘ 4th round pick in the 2021 draft (#115 overall), the 20-year old will likely have a great senior year, then sign an NHL entry level deal.

As a junior captain, he scores a new college best 10 goals, ties his 16 assists and 26 points.

He is wooed to leave a year of college on the table and signs a 3-year entry level deal with the team that selected him and looks to head to affiliate Milwaukee Admirals to get things started.

As a 1st year d-man, he puts up 8 goals and 21 assists in 70 games with a +3 rating to earn a 1st recall.

In his NHL debut, he plays 20 shifts for 15:37 of ice with 1 hit and 2 giveaways in a 7-3 loss.

Boston University Terriers‘ captain center Ryan Greene(20) leaves a year on the table and signs with draft team Chicago Blackhawks (2nd round, 2022, #57 overall) after scoring a new college high 13 goals and 25 assists in 40 games with a +6 rating.

The 6’2″ 190 lbs. forward has 3 seasons of 20+ assists.

He did 2 high scoring years of USHL juniors for Green Bay Gamblers.

From St. John’s, NL, the 21-year old will likely do well with his power style play and makes his NHL debut, skating 20 shifts for 12:55 ice time, 3 shot blocks, 3 giveaways and went 33% on the face-off dot in a 4-3 shootout win.

Harvard University Crimson senior captain defenseman Ian Moore(74) signs a 2-year entry level contract with draft team Anaheim Ducks (3rd round of 2020, #67 overall) and starts his pro career with affiliate San Diego Gulls, where he’s good for a 1st AHL goal and 4 assists in 9 games to score a recall in his short pro career.

In his NHL debut, he skates 18 shifts for 15:31 of ice time with 3 shots and 1 block in a 4-2 loss.

The 6’3″ 194 lbs. blue liner equaled his college best 3 goals last season and had 18 assists as a sophomore.

From Concord, MA, the 24-year is just getting started.

Northeastern University Huskies‘ sophomore right wing Dylan Jackson(15) will join his twin brother Ty on University Of Arizona Sun Devils in 2022/2023, as he enters the transfer portal to host his junior year at the new school.

The small 5’9″ 165 lbs. forward spent most of last season injured on the sidelines, but in 8 games managed 3 assists.

An Oakville, ON native, he did one season of junior hockey in the OJHL, but headed to a pair of USHL frames before heading to school.

The 20-year old has a ton of energy out there and if can stay healthy will contribute.

In 3 years, including a graduate session at his new school, he scores decently with 10+ points, but is a +2 rating to leave college hockey.

He signs his 1st deal with his brother to skate for Deggendorfer SC of Germany3, where we expect them to do very well.
