After a split season, playing pro hockey with Bridgeport Islanders and affiliate Worcester Railers, where he was a point-per-game player in the ECHL, Justin Gill(23) decides to commit to Merrimack College Warriors as a freshman for 2025/2026.
The 6’1″ 190 lbs. forward also scored huge, as he was rounding up 5 years in the QMJHL.
In 18 games in college hockey, he is finding the net like he always has with 7 goals and 10 assists.

4th year defenseman Alex Cohen(21) joins Mayhem Macon for a 3rd straight season that also for a 2nd straight year includes loans up to Orlando Solar Bears.
The 6′ 192 lbs. blue liner has 5 goals and 5 assists in 26 SPHL games this season, which is a bit off his usual marks.
From Newton, MA, the 27-year old, 3-time Northeast Generals went to Union College Dutchmen, but left after little use through his junior frame.

University Of New Hampshire Wildcats‘ senior left wing Liam Devlin(12) signed with Reading Royals for his rookie season, 2025/2026 and has a 1st ECHL goal and 3 assists in 27 games.
The 5’11” 192 lbs. forward had a college best 14 assists in his final year.
From Needham, MA, the 25-year old did 2 seasons of USHL before his college commit.

Ferris State University Bulldogs‘ junior defense Andrew Noel(28) leaves a year on the table to sign with Cincinnati Cyclones for his rookie season, 2025/2026.
In 17 games, he has 2 goals and 4 assists.
The 6’1″ 190 lbs. blue liner from Maynard, MA did 2 years of juniors before school, including 1 in the BCHL.
At 25-years old, he is scoring better as a pro.

Penn State University Nittany Lions‘ junior defenseman Mac Gadowsky(4) transferred from 2 years at Army West Point Black Knights, where he had 16 goals and 26 assists as a sophomore.
The 6’3″ 190 lbs. blue liner did 2 years of juniors, part of his 2nd with hometown Fairbanks Ice Dogs from Alaska before school.
In 20 games, the 24-year old has 7 assists in a Big Ten Conference scoring isn’t quite as easy.

12th year left wing Conor Sheary(43) signed a 1-year NHL deal with New York Rangers for 2025/2026 and has 1 goal and 8 assists in 37 games with a -4 rating.
The small 5’8″ 183 lbs. forward scored 23 goals and 30 assists in his 1st season under to Pittsburgh Penguins, his best offensive output.
He has 5 seasons with 10+ goals and 4 with 20+ assists.
The former UMASS Minutemen senior captain was a big scorer in college too.
From Winchester, MA, the 33-year old has to be happy with his continued progress, despite playing most of last season in the AHL as a more than point-per-game player.

Worcester Railers‘ 6’3″ 214 lbs. right wing Tyler Kobryn(20) skates 5 ECHL games of his 2nd season with the team, but gets traded to Indy Fuel after recording no points.
He had 9 goals in 25 games last year.
From Hillsborough, NJ, the Wesleyan University Cardinals‘ graduate 28-year old may look elsewhere, if this stops doesn’t pan out.
He only has 1 goal and 1 assist in 11 games, so gets traded to Orlando Solar Bears to hopefully increase his scoring fortunes.

Worcester Railers‘ big 6’7″ 6th year defenseman Adam Samuelsson(14) seems to be fitting in nicely with the style of his new team with 1 assist in 21 ECHL games and a +2 rating.
He started the season with Tahoe Knight Monsters, but played no games after returning from his 3rd year in Hockeyettan with Boras HC.
The former 7 game Boston College Eagles blue liner maybe didn’t gel at school after most of 2 years at USNTDP and returned to juniors.
