He scored huge at Northwood School USHS-Prep and 1 BCHL junior frame for West Kelowna Warriors before school.
We’re not so sure he will double his scoring totals, but we think he will find his better footing.

After posting a huge session for South Shore Kings, scoring a mammoth 34 goals and 15 assists in 45 USPHL/NCDC games, right wing Timothy Heinke(26) is ready to commit to Quinnipiac University Bobcats for 2022/2023.
The 6’1″ 194 lbs. forward was always a decent scorer through USHS-Prep and 16U-18U AAA, but really found his footing in one year of junior hockey.
We’re making bets the 20-year old impacts the lineup as a freshman.
His use through 2 seasons is limited to just 16 games, which makes it tough to create momentum, but does come away with 3 assists and a +2 rating.
The Southington, CT native enters the transfer portal and will play his hockey next at Holy Cross College Crusaders and we are thinking Atlantic Hockey looks much different, better for the former junior hockey scorer.

University Of New Hampshire Wildcats‘ sophomore goaltender Tyler Muszelik(30) maybe a little unsurprisingly enters the transfer portal and will tend net next for Hockey East foe, University Of Connecticut Huskies in 2024/2025.
The 6’3″ 194 lbs. net minder is a Florida Panthers‘ 6th round draft pick in the 2022 draft (#189 overall).
He did 2 years at USNTDP and maybe a bit oddly was selected after a 1st not so amazing frame.
From Long Valley, NJ, we do think the 19-year old has a much better new season.

Ogden Mustangs‘ Swedish-born 2nd year defenseman Teddie Hember(22) played a 1st USPHL/NCDC season after making the jump, scoring big in Premier for his 1st frame.
The 6’1″ 172 lbs. blue liner scored 11 goals and 27 assists in 45 games, then went onto added another 3-6 in 8 before bowing out in the finals.
He will take his solid defensive game with offense upsides to a 2024/2025 at Salve Regina University Seahawks.
We look for the 21-year old to do well in CCC play.

14th year center Tyler McNeely(14) steps back to re-join Germany3 for 2024/2025, but will switch allegiances, signing with Bietigheim Steelers, who he played for their DEL2 team earlier career with success for a couple of seasons.
The 5’10” 183 lbs. forward has suited up for 3 different German teams over 12 years of his career.
Undrafted, the former twice captain of Northeastern University Huskies, 1st signed with Bridgeport Sound Tigers (Islanders), but quickly moved on after 2 seasons closer to home, Burnaby, BC.
At 37-years old, he must still be having fun, playing pro hockey.

University Of Vermont Catamounts‘ Kazakhstan-born junior center Andrei Buyalsky(12) decides to leave a year on the table to turn pro, signing for 2024/2025 with Barys Astana of the KHL.
The 6’3″ 194 lbs. forward was a point-per-game USHL player with Dubuque Fighting Saints before school coming over after 4 seasons of Pro Hokei Ligacy at home and 27 games in Russia’s tier 2 VHL, so has quite a little history, hockey journey.
He was a Colorado Avalanche 3rd round pick in 2021 (#92 overall), but they don’t seem to be interested in pursuing him.
We think he finds space and does well in the top Russian league.

New Hampshire Mountain Kings‘ 2nd year NAHL right wing Matthew Hale(28) scored a junior best 12 goals and 18 assists, playing for essentially what is his home team, coming from Center Harbor and commits to another close by club, Plymouth State University Panthers for 2024/2025.
The 5’7″ 150 lbs. forward did all his youth hockey in the area as well.
We think the 20-year old helps his new college club win games.

New Hampshire Mountain Kings‘ defenseman Riley Klas(25) commits to Boise State University Broncos for 2024/2025, which is closer to his Anaheim, CA home.
The 6’2″ 185 lbs. blue liner played most of his 1st 2 junior season in the USPHL Elite with Junior Bruins. before graduating to NA3HL in the last frame.
We think the 19-year old will help his new college team win games.

Yale University Bulldogs‘ senior left wing Niklas Allain(11) scored a college best 6 goals last season and the North Branford, CT native takes that to a 1st pro contract with Brodernas/Vasby of Hockeyettan.
The 6’2″ 181 lbs. forward was selected by his college during his 1st USPHL/NCDC season with Junior Bruins.
We think the 24-year old finds a bit more room in Sweden’s tier 3 league to score more.

Providence College Friars‘ sophomore right wing Bennett Schimek(23) trades in 2 decent Hockey East seasons for his junior year Arizona State University Sun Devils, 2024/2025.
The 6′ 189 lbs. forward plays 2 USHL seasons with Sioux City Musketeers, taking up his scoring nicely in his 2nd frame.
From Mendota Heights, MN, the 21-year old should do even better with the schedule he will play for his new college club.
