South Shore Kings‘ late arrival, right wing Jack DesRuisseaux(13) must feel like 3 teams the charm, as this is his 3rd club of his only junior season, cycling 1st through the AJHL for a 4 game taste to 15 NAHL contests with close to home New Hampshire Mountain Kings, but finally arrived in the USPHL/NCDC and looks right to earn a 2024/2025 commit to Sacred Heart University Pioneers.

In 23 games, the 5’10” 170 lbs. forward has 8 goals and 8 assists.

From Manchester, NH, the 20-year old will probably do pretty well playing Atlantic Hockey style.

Colgate University Raiders‘ senior net minder Carter Gylander(37) is a Detroit Red Wings‘ 7th round draft pick in the 2019 draft (#191 overall).

The 6’5″ 190 lbs. goalie had 2 stellar AJHL seasons with Sherwood Park Crusaders that earned him to selection.

He is currently 8-10-3 with a 2.97 GAA and .905 SV% in 21 appearances.

The 24-year old Beaumont, AB native should be an easy NHL entry level sign to see what happens.

Upon finishing up his college season, he signs a 2-year deal and will report to affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins on an ato for the remainder of the year.

Quinnipiac University Bobcats‘ junior goal scorer Jacob Quillan(16) signs a 2-year NHL entry level deal with Toronto Maple Leafs, leaving a year at school on the table.

Undrafted, he had a college best 29 assists and 46 points in 39 games with a +17 rating last season.

The Dartmouth, NS native did only 1 more than point-per-20-game BCHL COVID-busted season for Penticton Vees.

He’s ready at 22-years old for the next step.

Merrimack College Warriors‘ graduate center Mac Welsher(22) already has a college career best 7 assists and we think will surpass the 7 goals he struck for as a senior.

He’s small at 5’8″, but is pretty sturdy at 183 lbs., so works it pretty well on ice with a +7 rating.

From Grosse Pointe, MI, he had a strong 2nd USHL frame with Des Moines Buccaneers before committing.

The 24-year old is the type of player to likely turn pro to see what might be there for him.

He does sign as soon as his team is eliminated from Hockey East action with Adirondack Thunder and does embrace ECHL style play, as he already has 2 goals and 2 assists in 6 games with a +2 rating.

Plymouth State University Panthers‘ senior captain center Jeromey Rancourt(88) signs a 1st pro deal with Port Huron  Prowlers and already has an assist in his FPHL debut, a 6-5 win.

The 5’11” 190 lbs. forward was a bit schizophrenic on the statsheet through school, scoring 12 goals as a sophomore and 12 assists in his junior frame.

He had 12 points through a college best 28 games last season with a +3 rating.

From Lewiston, ME, the 25-year old is likely pretty grateful for the opportunity.

Union College Dutchmen senior transfer, left wing Benjamin Tupker(27) is big at 6’3″ 192 lbs. and has put up a new best 6 goals in a most 32 games.

Undrafted, the 3-year Cornell University Big Red, Collingwood, ON native put up some significant numbers in his 2nd and 3rd CCHL seasons of junior hockey with Carleton Place Canadians, hitting close to point-per-game stats in his final frame.

A still young 23-year old, it will be interesting to see what he decides next.

He takes new college highs scoring 9 goals and 10 assists to a 1st pro contract with Trois-Rivieres Lions, should do pretty well for himself in the ECHL and has 2 assists in 7 games.

Railers Jr. Hockey goaltender Adam Casper(30) posted a shutout to take a 1st ever 2024 EHL Championship for the young team.

The 5’10” 160 lbs. net minder posted a 20-4-0 records with a 1.66 GAA, .932 SV% and 5 shutouts in his 2nd season in the league.

He had only 4 losses last season too.

From Skaneateles, NY, he was quite amazing as he went along at high school.

The 20-year old commits to sort of close by home SUNY Geneseo Knights.

Boston College Eagles‘ graduate center Jack Malone(13) is off to a nice start with 4 goals and 3 assists in 12 games after coming over from Cornell University Big Red, where he was a decent enough ECAC scorer.

Hockey East may be more appealing to the 6’1″ 196 lbs. forward, who also struck pretty well through 3 years of the USHL for Youngstown Phantoms.

A Vancouver Canucks‘ 6th round pick in the 2019 draft (#180 overall), the 23-year old from Danville, CA looks to be an easy sign for an NHL entry level deal once he’s ready.

He gets the overtime game-winner against last years champions to send his team to the Frozen Four in St. Paul for the 1st time since 2016, their 26th visit overall.
