Undrafted, left wing Aidan Spellacy(8) was originally at his junior year of Roger Morris University Pioneers, but when the program went belly-up, entered the transfer portal and was next heading to St. Cloud State University Huskies for his senior and a graduate session.

The 5’11” 174 lbs. has 4 times scored 10+ points in college, but really hasn’t been too effective a scorer.

Upon graduation, he signed an ato with Kalamazoo Wings and in 6 ECHL games pocketed 2 goals.

He was set to return for his official rookie season, but has ultimately decided to sign in the EIHL for 2023/2024 and joins a pretty famous hockey club in Coventry Blaze.

Junior defenseman Brady Morrison(44) switches up 2 years at SUNY-Canton Kangaroos to Plymouth State University Panthers for 2023/2024.

The 5’11” 187 lbs. blue liner wasn’t exactly a big point scorer, but did have 6 goals and 9 assists through 23 games as a freshman.

He’s off to a strong start with his new club, scoring 1 goal and 2 assists in 3 outings.

From Chilliwack, BC, the 23-year old is the type of player you see that will turn pro.

After only playing a haldful of games in his 3 seasons at Merrimack College Warriors, decent sized defenseman Kevin Sadovski(8) branches out for his senior year to try something new at UMASS-Boston Beacons.

The 6′ 20o lbs. blue liner already has 2 goals and 1 assist in 4 D3 games to start with his new college club.

From Palm Coast, FL, the 24-year old did much of his junior hockey up north, most successfully maybe in his final season as captain of Utica Comets, scoring 10 goals and 30 assists.

Salve Regina University Seahawks‘ senior center Joseph Kile(81) is still early in the season, but looks to be on pace to even or better what he did last season with 16 goals and 12 assists in 25 games with a +7 rating.

The 6’1″ 193 lbs. forward has 2 goals and 4 assists in 4 games with a +5 already.

He did 3 years at SUNY-Plattsburgh Cardinals, but didn’t play 1 due to COVID restrictions.

The 25-year old Troy, MI native played 3 years of junior hockey, mostly in the NAHL with Johnstown Tomahawks.

Michigan State University Spartans‘ Slovakian-born, freshman defenseman Maxim Strbak(8) is off to a nice start with 1 goal and 2 assists in 9 games.

The 6’2″ 205 lbs. blue liner was selected by Buffalo Sabres in the 2nd round of the 2023 draft (#46 overall) after just 1 USHL season with Sioux Falls Stampede.

He did all his previous junior and youth hockey back home.

The 18-year old plays a big d-man style game, but doesn’t seem afraid to jump up in the play.

Harvard University Crimson junior defenseman Jack Bar(24) may not eclipse modest highs set in earlier college seasons, but is relied upon to play a very in-your-face, move the skater from the front of the net style he is very good at.

A Dallas Stars‘ 5th round pick in the 2021 draft (#138 overall), the 6’2″ 194 lbs. blue liner was selected after his 1 junior frame with Chicago Steel, where he walked with the 2021 USHL Clark Cup Championship.

From Newmarket, ON, the 21-year old is looking good to sign an entry level deal after next session.

Undrafted right wing Matt Fawcett(8) will take his game to University Of Maine Black Bears for 2021/2022 after two years at Quinnipiac University Bobcats.

He’s very small at 5’6″ 148 lbs. but quick enough on his skates to find space and has shown to be a more than consistent scorer in his time at Winchendon School, where he had just a colossal 81 goals and what 113 assists in 107 USHS-Prep games.

The Lincoln, RI native also was potting points with MSHL U16 & U18 teams and headed off twice for late USHL stints with Sioux City Musketeers before deciding to head up north to a shortened 21 games season for Powell Rivers Kings, but still managed 10 goals and 10 assists in 21 BCHL games.

The 22-year old junior will no doubt add some energy to his new college club.

We think this may be one of the more interesting cool, college hockey moves of the offseason, he will take his game to Salve Regina University Raiders for a 2023/2024 (listed as junior?) frame and likely do awesome, be fun to watch in official D3 hockey.

In 4 games with his new college team, he already has sniped 6 goals and 5 assists in all wins.

Harvard University Crimson freshman right wing Michael Callow(18) doesn’t have any points through 2 NCAA Division 1 games, but our bet is once he starts it will continue.

The big and rangy 6’4″ 181 lbs. forward is around the net a lot.

In 1 frame of USHL, he was a very decent scorer with Muskegon Lumberjacks and also hit the scoresheet quite decently through high school.

An Anaheim Ducks‘ 5th round pick in 2022 (#154 overall), from Boston, MA we think the 19-year old’s talents are going to spring to life.
