Seacoast Spartans‘ 1st year defenseman Jason Shafer(25) scored a junior best 4 goals and 14 assists in a new high 54 games that he will take to a Nazareth College Golden Flyers commit for 2025/2026.
The 6′ 170 lbs. blue liner bounced around juniors in his 4 years, mostly with Utica Jr. Comets, close to his Westmoreland, NY home.
We look for the 21-year old to do ok for himself.

UMASS-Lowell Riverhawks‘ junior defenseman Mitchell Becker(3) enters the transfer portal and will skate at Niagara University Purple Eagles as a senior, 2025/2026.
The 6’4″ 223 lbs. blue liner did 3 junior seasons with New Mexico Ice Wolves, playing a high 60 NAHL games, scoring 10 goals and 21 assists.
From Rogers, MN, the 24-year old will do well playing Atlantic Hockey.

Norwich Sea Captains‘ 2nd year defenseman Connor Gilkeson(4) scored a junior best 5 goals and 7 assists in 37 NA3HL games last season.
The 6′ 185 lbs. blue liner and sometimes forward commits to Franklin Pierce University Ravens for 2025/2026.
From Ronoake, VA, the 21-year will compete well in NE10.

New Hampshire Mountain Kings‘ 2nd year defenseman Tommy McDonough(55) scored a phenomenal 46 assists with 7 goals last season.
The 5’9″ 165 lbs. blue liner has played all of his hockey thus far very locally.
From Madbury, NH, the 21-year old commits to Hobart College Statesmen for 2025/2026.

University Of Michigan Wolverines‘ sophomore center William Whitelaw(18) will switch school for a 2nd time from his initial commit school, University Of Wisconsin Badgers.
Columbus Blue Jackets‘ 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft (#66 overall) next head to 2025 NCAA Division 1 Champs, Western Michigan University Broncos.
We look for the 5’9″ 174 lbs. forward to have similar 10+ points scoring success and even could push it higher.
He only did 1 year USHL juniors, blowing up scoring with Youngstown Phantoms on the way to the 2023 Clark Cup Championship before school.

University Of Maine Black Bears‘ sophomore defenseman Liam Lesakowski(6) is 6’5″ 220 lbs.
He doesn’t score a lot of points, 0 last season with a +2 rating on a very good team.
In more games the previous year, he had 2 assists.
Through 2 USHL seasons before school, he had more points, but only marginally.
From Buffalo, NY, the 21-year old enters the transfer portal and will head to Sacred Heart University Pioneers, as a junior, 2025/2026.

Northeastern University Huskies‘ freshman center Ben Poitras(12) was only able to strike for 1 goal and 2 assists in 31 Hockey East games, but will trade through the transfer portal and head to Brown University Bears next, 2025/2026.
The 6′ 190 lbs. forward had 2 fairly successful USHL frames following USHS-Prep.
From Montreal, QC, we expect the 21-year old to do better ECAC.
