The 5’10” 185 lbs. former, senior Boston University Terriers‘ captain will make a great coach with all the playing experience he brings to the table.

8th year net minder Anthony Peters(30) takes a 2021 Slovak Extraliga Championship, letting just about nothing by him for HC Slovan Bratislava to a new deal in the same league with HK Poprad for 2022/2023.

The 6’1″ 193 lbs. former 3 year OHL, then 4 years at St. Mary’s University Huskies with an outstanding senior year and deep playoff run has appeared in 51 AHL games and 116 ECHL.

He has very good stats in the lower league, 70-35-5, 2.60 GAA and .910 SV%.

The 31-year old from Blyth, ON has played in 4 different leagues overseas, but seems to be settling nicely where he is.

12th year center John Albert(14) stays with Toledo Walleye for a 2nd season after scoring an ECHL best 24 goals and 24 assists for 48 points last season.

The one-time Atlanta Thrashers‘ 5th round pick in the 2007 draft (#165 overall) has only played 9 games with original contract club, Winnipeg Jets, scoring his only NHL goal in the process.

He has played in 339 AHL games with 4 different teams.

The senior captain at Ohio State University Buckeyes has twice gone overseas, but only skated a full season once with Karpat of Liiga.

At 33-years old, 5’11” 179 lbs. Cleveland, OH native is home to play his pro hockey nowadays.

12th year right wing Matt Frattin(39) leaves 5 years in the KHL to sign a 1-year deal with HC Bolzano Foxes of IceHL.

In his 1st game, he had an assist.

The former Toronto Maple Leafs‘ forward has 135 NHL games, scoring 17 goals and 18 assists to his credit.

A 4 year University Of North Dakota Fighting Hawks‘ was a Hobey Baker Finalist as a senior, popping the score sheet for 36 goals and 24 assists.

The 34-year old from Edmonton, AB shows little signs of quit.

5th year Rochester Institute Of Technology Tigers‘ graduate captain, defenseman Daniel Willett(19) has always put up either 20 or close to points per season, and came away from 2021/2022 with a college career best 5 goals.

He signs a 1st pro contract with South Carolina Stingrays and got an assist in his ECHL debut.

The small but sturdy 5’7″ 181 lbs. skated four USHL sessions for a few different teams, but didn’t commit to school until finishing up with Madison Capitals, and ended up playing a record 266 games in the junior league.

At 26-years old, the Glen Cove, NY native is a little older to start, but should be the type of player others look to.

After recording 2 assists in 6 games, he decides to move on and signs with the close by Greenville Swamp Rabbits for his rookie session, 2022/2023.

Undrafted 8th year center Jarrett Burton(36) will try his stick far away from Echo Bay, ON signing a one-year deal for 2021/2022 with Stavenger Oilers of Fjordkraftligaen.

The 6′ 185 lbs. forward last skated for Iowa Wild in 2020/2021, scoring 4 goals and 5 assists in 34 AHL games, taking his total up to 253 through 6 years in the league.

His scoring was elevated in the league of his first contract, the ECHL, with his only club Wheeling Nailers, where he was good for 33 goals and 47 assists in 118 games.

The former Clarkson University Golden Knights‘ assistant captain as a senior twice scored 20 points in Atlantic Hockey play.

Already 30-years old, he may just want to go experience other worlds of the sport before heading off the ice.

After putting up a career best 22 goals and 28 assists in 44 games, then hitting for another 12 points in 15 playoff games en route to the 2022 Norwegian Championship, he has decided that is enough pro hockey for him and retires from the game at a nice peak.

Undrafted, defenseman Rourke Russell(20) decided to extend his college career by a year and take eligibility to enter the transfer portal and head to a graduate program at Sacred Heart University.

He was coming from having completed four years at Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks.

The 6′ 172 lbs. blue liner has never been the biggest point scorer, 12 assists was his peak college as a sophomore and junior numbers were much north of there.

Well, the time has come and he has stepped in, signing his 1st ECHL deal with Adirondack Thunder for the remainder of 2021/2022.

He only got 1 assist in 9 games, but the d-man re-signs to stay in Glens Falls.

Binghamton Devils‘ undrafted, former senior captain, right wing Tyler Irvine(14) spent four seasons at Merrimack College and in 32 Hockey East games, finished up in last year’s ridiculous COVID stoppage with a career high 13 goals and 14 assists for 27 points.,

He signed a pto as the new campaign was getting underway and has a goal and 2 assists with a +1 rating on a team that struggles to put together wins.

The 5’11” 170 lbs. forward played a pair of years in juniors, first in the NAHL but switched up to the USHL for his second campaign and committed near the end of his time skating for Muskegon Lumberjacks.

It seems like the Michigan-born prospect would be in line to sign an spc soon but could be kept hanging and might sign an official deal as 2021/2022 get on owners/coaches’ minds.

As a 2nd year player, he split time with Utica Comets, doing ok, but on reassignment down to Adirondack Thunder, exploded the stat sheet with 19 goals and 23 assists in 49 ECHL games.

For 2022/2023, he scores a new AHL contract with Cleveland Monsters and should fit in nicely.

4th year center Calder Brooks(19) explodes the scoring sheet last season for Rapid City Rush, popping 19 goals and 18 assists in 43 ECHL games with a +10 rating, then added another 13 points in 11 playoff matchups.

The 6′ 192 lbs. forward takes this performance to a new contract with Calgary Wranglers for 2021/2022.

He was loaned up to Henderson Silver Knights for 3 AHL games last season with no points.

The Emerald Park, SK native played his junior hockey in the WHL before skating 3 games with Bridgeport Sound Tigers, but ultimately deciding to head to school, St. Mary’s University Huskies, where he stayed for 4 years.

He left and played his rookie season split between Germany3 and mostly Ligue Magnus before returning for the COVID shambles of 2020/2021 with Jacksonville Icemen.

We think the 28-year old could be very successful up with his new team, but if not will return to South Dakota.

13th year right wing Mark Arcobello(36) stays with HC Lugano and will captain the NL team for a 3rd year.

He is a more than point-per-game player through 299 games in the league, scoring 302 (114-188) points.

The only 5’8″ 174 lbs. forward is equal to the task in the AHL, where the Yale University Bulldogs‘ graduate has 220 points in 237 games with a +62 rating.

He also has 139 appearances in the NHL with 5 teams.

The 34-year old, undrafted player from Milford, CT must be pretty happy to still be playing some amazing hockey.
