Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod‘s 2nd year center Kenny Agostino(11) is already off to a good start for 2022/2023 with 2 goals and 3 assists in 7 KHL games with a +3 rating.

Last season he scored 20 goals and 20 assists in 46 games with a +8, his 1st season overseas.

The former 4-year 10+ goal scorer and 2 time 20+ assist guy at Yale University Bulldogs was originally a Pittsburgh Penguins‘ 5th round pick in the 2010 draft (#140 overall).

He was traded to Calgary Flames and signed an entry level deal before his skates ever hit the ice.

The Morristown, NJ native bounced around on 1-year deals mostly before getting signed to a 2-year, 1-way contract late with Toronto Maple Leafs, yet he only appeared in 1 NHL game with them.

At 30-years old, he’s done ok enough, but is still likely earning his way in Russia and playing some elite puck.

For 2023/2024, he is trading in a couple of seasons where he is for new surroundings in the SHL and will join Skelleftea AIK.

He actually switches things up and heads to Germany instead, signing with Dusseldorfer EG of DEL and scores himself point-per-game numbers in 48 (14-34), but will ink with rivals, ERC Ingolstadt for 2024/2025 and likely do just as well.

USNTDP‘s 2nd year goaltender Nicholas Kempf(31) commits to University Of Notre Dame Fighting Irish for 2024/2025.

The 6’2″ 191 lbs. net minder didn’t exactly do too well through juniors.

We think mostly he was scouted during his youth time with Chicago Mission 13-15U and think come college he returns to that form.

Washington Capitals see something, as they select him in the 4th round of 2024 NHL draft (#114 overall).

Anaheim Ducks‘ 5th round pick in the 2019 draft (#132 overall), Notre Dame University Fighting Irish senior center, assistant captain Trevor Janicke(27) already has a career high 10 assists, but may not equal his 15 goals as a junior, with 9 this season in 28 games.

He played 2 campaigns for USNTDP before signing with Central Illinois Flying Aces for his 3rd, best USHL frame, scoring 22 goals and 26 assists in 58 games.

The 22-year old from Maple Grove, MN should be an easy get for an NHL entry level deal, when college is done.

He goes unsigned and agrees to a 2-way AHL contract with Calgary Wranglers for his rookie frame.

Vancouver Canucks‘ 7th round pick in the 2019 draft (#195 overall), senior left wing Aidan McDonough(25) signs his 2-year entry level deal after finishing up 4 years at Northeastern University Huskies, including his last as team captain, scoring 1 point off his junior career high with a college best 18 assists, 39 points (25 goals, 14 assists).

He could join the parent club immediately.

The 6’3″ 190 lbs. is big on his skates and plays an effective power forward style.

In the only year of USHL junior hockey he skated, he scored 21 goals and 21 assists for Cedar Rapids Roughriders.

The 23-year old from Milton, MA has a bright future ahead of him and we bet he’ll be playing for it.

He does join the big league immediately with 6 games and gets a 1st NHL goal, but is reassigned for his entire rookie frame to affiliate Abbotsford Canucks, scoring 11 goals and 8 assists with a +2 rating.

Almost oddly maybe, he isn’t given a qualifying offer and signs an AHL deal for 2024/2025 with Charlotte Checkers that should heed great results.

11th year, Columbus Blue Jackets‘ 6th round pick in the 2008 draft (#157 overall) right wing Cam Atkinson(89) gets traded from the nest of the only team he’s ever known for his 10 year pro career that maybe wasn’t considered likely seeing his stealthy 5’8″ 176 lbs. frame.

He heads to Philadelphia Flyers to ride out the final 4 years of his big money 7-year deal he signed in 2018/2019.

The Riverside, CT native has skated an almost eye-popping 627 NHL games, scoring 213 goals and 189 assists with an overall +17 rating.

He signed his entry level deal after twice scoring big for Boston College Eagles and would report to affiliate Springfield Falcons at the end of his third year, only to pop in a 1st 3 goals and 2 assists in 5 AHL games.

At 32-years old, it’s definitely a bit of a scary signing, but he has averaged 20+ goals and once hit 29, 35 and 41 in a session.

He doesn’t quite hit his previous marks with 10+ numbers in 2 seasons for his new club, including 1 completely scrapped due to injury and is bought out of his final year of his deal.

For 2024/2025, he hooks up with only his 3rd team ever in 14 seasons of play, Tampa Bay Lightning think they can lift the now 35-year old’s scoring level.

cHp wants to wish one-time Boston Bruins‘ 7th round draft pick in the 2012 draft (#205 overall) left wing Colton Hargrove(7) a happy retirement in what’s easily too early of an exit, forced upon him by recurring back injuries.

The former Western Michigan University Broncos standout leaves hockey with a career high 14 goals and 22 assists for 38 points in 45 IceHL games for Ferhervar AV19.

He was basically good for 15 goals and 15 assists for any team he skated for.

The 6’1″ 215 lbs. power forward was always a pleasure to watch play for Providence Bruins in his first three pro years.

We wish the 28-year old Dallas, TX native, who did get to skate fairly close to home in Cedar Park one season for Texas Stars all the best whatever life holds for him moving forward with what’s next.

Well, he did sit out 2021/2022, after what maybe was a bit of a difficult 2nd run in Austria’s top hockey.

For last season though, when the air had completely cleared, he decided to lace them back up for the close to home Allen Americans.

He became the team’s captain and went onto as they said it an MVP frame, scoring a career best by a mile 39 goals and 46 assists.

That’s basically enough for the now 31-year old to want to return to play some more hockey.

Limited to just 12 games last season, because of a knee injury, he actually become a licensed real estate agent, but for 2024/2025 will continue to play hockey, but is moving away from home for his 9th season to join 2-time champs, Florida Everblades.

Buffalo Sabres‘ 3rd round pick in the 2016 draft (#86 overall), defenseman Casey Fitzgerald(4) scores a 1st NHL recall and skates a full slate of 27 shifts for 16:42 of ice time and was busy with 2 shots, 5 hits, 2 takeaways, an assist and 5 minutes for fighting, but leaves an overtime loss with a +1 rating.

The 5’11” 181 lbs., former two-time Boston College Eagles‘ captain was never exactly the biggest scorer at school, but did pocket 17 goals and 65 assists in 151 NCAA Division 1 games with a very accountable +26 rating.

He may not reach almost 1100 games in the big league like his New Jersey Devils’ General Manager dad, Tom Fitzgerald, but he still should be able to knock out a formidable career.

After 23 games with 3 assists and a -1 rating, he gets put on waivers to be reassigned, but Florida Panthers swoop in, seeing something in his game they want and claim his rights.

We can only watch to see how he fits into their lineup.

He only plays 4 games with the Cats, then 2 in the playoffs, but not good for any points.

They see something they can potentially use to move forward and sign him to a 1-year, 2-way deal in 2023/2024.

Reassigned for the entire frame to the affiliate, Charlotte Checkers, he does decently and is a very accountable +22 rating to pull down a new 2-year, 1-way in the 2nd contract with New York Rangers that may get him some playing time, but mostly he will be pivotal with Hartford Wolf Pack.

Boston College Eagles 2024/2025 commit, 2nd year USNTDP defenseman Will Skahan(27) doesn’t exactly put up the point totals, so much as the 6″4″ 211 pounder is accountable in his zone.

The Orange, CA 17-year is 2024 draft eligible.

He’s not exactly doing terribly with point production, but that +51 rating must have gotten him the look he needed to be selected in the 2nd round by the new Utah Hockey Club in the 2024 NHL draft (#65 overall).
