New Jersey Devils‘ 4th round pick in the 2022 draft (#126 overall) defenseman Charlie Leddy(6) commits to Boston College Eagles for 2022/2023 after picking up 17 assists in 55 USHL games with USNTDP and a handy +33 rating.

The 6’1″ 185 lbs. blue liner from Fairfield, CT looks to be a good shut-down blue liner that can also pick up points.

He arrives at his new school as just an 18-year old.

Somehow, we missed a portal transfer to Quinnipiac University Bobcats, despite even seeing him play games with the team and him becoming assistant captain as a senior.

He graduates with an impressive +/- stat and signs an ato to start with Utica Comets under the direction of the team who selected him.

Niagara University Purple Eagles‘ assistant captain, junior right wing Declan McDonnell(26) had 12 goals and 14 assists in 37 games last season.

He came over from 2 USports‘ seasons at Saint Mary’s University Huskies, where he also scored well.

The 5’10” 185 lbs. forward has had a wild little run already, doing 4 years OHL, but going pro in the AHL the COVID campaign 2020/2021 with Syracuse Crunch.

Originally a Tampa Bay Lightning 7th round pick in the NHL draft (#217 overall) made sense for him to play with the affiliate.

From Buffalo, NY, the 24-year old played his youth hockey in the Jr. Sabres‘ system.

He foregoes a senior year and signs a pro deal with Worcester Railers.

In 9 games, he has a 1st ECHL goal and 2 assists.

University Of Connecticut Huskies‘ junior transfer from somewhat underuse in 2 years University Of New Hampshire Wildcats‘ goaltender Tyler Muszelik(30) already has a 3-1 record with a 2.28 GAA and .901 SV% for the Florida Panthers 6th round pick in the 2022 draft (#189 overall).

The 6’3″ 193 lbs. net minder from Long Valley, NJ did 2 years USNTDP before heading to his 1st school.

He’s just 20-years old, so is well on his way towards development.

As a senior, he starts a new high 35 games with a 19-11-5 record, 2.21 GAA and .926 SV% that extends to the Hockey East Finals and an appearance in the NCAA D1 Tournament.

Upon completion, he signs a 2-year NHL entry level deal to join the draft club’s affiliate Charlotte Checkers to start.

Cornell University Big Red freshman center Jonathan Castagna(38) is an Arizona Coyotes‘ 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft (#70 overall).

The 6’2″ 194 lbs. forward at still only 18-years old is a solid, power forward style player.

Through 18 games this season, he has 5 goals and 7 assists with a +11 rating on the #13 team in the country.

From Etobicoke, ON, he did 2 years at St. Andrew’s College and he looks like he’s getting ready.

His rights were transferred to the new Utah Mammoth, who included it in their trade to Calgary Flames, whose property he becomes and they seem excited by the prospect.

He scored a college high 14 goals and 18 assists through 29 games, heading into tournament play.

No surprise, he signs a 3-year NHL entry level contract and will report to affiliate Calgary Wranglers.

Boston College Eagles‘ defenseman Drew Fortescue(5) had the 1st home goal for the team to start the 2023/2024 season in a 4-2 win.

Almost a little ironic considering he had no goals in 22 USHL games last season and only 1 in 62 games for the NTDP club.

A New York Rangers‘ 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft (#90 overall), he stands 6’2″ 176 lbs.

We think the 18-year old’s game will continue to grow and he’ll become a team leader.

After a solid junior frame with another 4 goals and new best 10 assists, he is wooed to leave his senior year on the shelf and sign a 3-year NHL entry level deal

USNTDP‘s 2nd year left wing Cole Eiserman(34) played an eye-popping 94 games for the 3 teams (U17, U18, juniors) last season and got 97 goals and 51 assists (he doesn’t give up the puck much).

The 17-year old from Newburyport, MA isn’t even draft age yet.

At 6′ 196 lbs. he already has 9 goals and 1 assist in 5 games up and 18 points (13-5) in 8 down.

Last night he had a hat trick against the school he will commit to in 2024/2025, Boston University Terriers in a lopsided 8-2 shattering.

We expect this stock to potentially hit that #1 pick spot.

New York Islanders make him the #20 pick in the 2024 NHL draft and more huge scoring, he is set to return, but discussions have to be taking place.

Two years of exceptional scoring and he is wooed to take a 3-year NHL entry level deal and get started.

Boston University Terriers‘ sophomore center Sacha Boisvert(12) transferred from just a single frame with University Of North Dakota Fighting Hawks, where he continued his healthy scoring 18 goals and 14 assists in 37 games last season.

A Chicago Blackhawks‘ 1st round NHL pick in the 2024 draft (#17 overall), he had more than point-per-game numbers in his 2nd USHL year, as assistant captain with Muskegon Lumberjacks.

From Trois Rivieres, QC, the 19-year scored his 1st goal with his new team and added 2 assists in his Hockey East debut.

We see how long he stays.

Through 26 games, he scores 3 goals and 14 assists, but his draft club sees something they want to add into the mix immediately, so he signs a 3-year NHL entry level deal, starting 2026/2027.

USNTDP 2nd year defenseman Cole Hutson(44) takes some pretty good scoring to a 2024/2025 commit at Boston University Terriers and gets himself selected by Washington Capitals, #43 in the 2nd round NHL 2024.

From North Barrington, IL, the 18-year old follows 1 brother to the same school, as the other 1 left to turn pro.

Sophomore blue liner stockpiles a 2nd season of big points in 35 games with a +13 rating that he takes to a 3-year NHL entry level deal with his draft club that will start immediately.

In his debut, he skates 21 shifts for 16:24 of ice time, including 3 shots, 1 giveaway and a 1st empty net goal to start his pro career.

Montreal Canadiens‘ 1st round pick in the 2017 draft (#25 overall), 3rd year center Ryan Poehling(25) re-ups for another 2 years with the 2nd year being on one-way terms.

The 6’2″ 204 lbs. power forward played a first big league game after agreeing to his 2-year entry level deal following a third year at State Cloud State University Huskies.

In that game he pulled off the rare feat of scoring an NHL hat trick in his debut.

Not bad for 11:22 of playing time.

He was very close to being a point-per-game guy last season with affiliate Laval Rocket (11-14-25) with a +5  in 28 AHL games.

The Lakeville, MN native was on a fast track through high school, then signing for his only time in junior hockey, 9 USHL games with Lincoln Stars (2 goals, 2 assists) before heading straight to school for a freshman campaign.

It seems if the 22-year old is given his shot to prove he can play, he could very well become a 20-goal scorer before too long.

He was traded during the offseason before the start of this 3rd year to Pittsburgh Penguins, where he played 53 games, registering 7 goals and 7 assists, but was left unqualified from his contract with the former club, so became an unrestricted free agent.

For 2023/2024, he signs a 1-year deal with Philadelphia Flyers for $1.4M AAV.

He has his best scoring season with 12 goals and 19 assists and is still under contract, but gets dished to Anaheim Ducks in a huge deal that should see him continue to put up career numbers with his new club, but he will need a contract.

In 56 games, he scores 7 goals and 18 assists with a +7 rating and they are liking what they see to sign him up to a 4-year extension through 2029/2030 to stay a Ducks.

8th year left wing Warren Foegele(37) takes a career year scoring 20 goals and 21 assists in a full slate of 82 games with a +3 rating for 3rd year team, Edmonton Oilers to a brand new 3-year contract, worth $3.5AAV with Los Angeles Kings.

For 6 NHL seasons, he always had 10+ goals and 5 times the same marker for assists.

From Markham, ON, he did 2 years at St. Andrew’s College Saints before heading off to University Of New Hampshire Wildcats.

He would split after a full season and 5 games to play OHL, where Carolina Hurricanes‘ 3rd round pick in the 2014 draft (#67 overall) would light up the scoresheet.

The 28-year old has arrived for himself at the right time.

He seems to be under-performing in his 2nd frame with the team, scoring 7 goals and 2 assists in 47 games is way off the mark, so he gets dealt with his contract to Ottawa Senators, who hope to revive what couldn’t be found in CA.
