From Parkland, FL, the 24-year came in from 2 USPHL/NCDC frames, where in 47 games in his 2nd year he had 15 assists.
The 5’8″ 165 lbs. blue liner, who won consecutive NCAA D3 Championships signs a 1st pro deal with Knoxville Ice Bears and will skate SPHL as a rookie 2024/2025.
4th year left wing Ara Nazarian(22) re-signs for a 3rd season with Jacksonville Icemen for 2022/2023.
The 5’9″ 185 lbs. forward is a pretty big scorer, last year hitting for 13 goals and 18 assists in 40 ECHL games with a +12 rating.
He was also loaned up to Rochester Americans, appearing in 14 AHL games for 2 goals and 1 assist.
The Boxford, MA native scored decently through 4 years at University Of New Hampshire Wildcats, striking best as a senior for 12 goals and 11 assists in 33 NCAA Division 1 games.
He was also a strong scorer at Malden Catholic USHS-Prep.
The 26-year old will very likely continue to take his game up.
He left for a year to join Belfast Giants and knocked scoring out of the park in the EIHL, but will return home under a deal to Syracuse Crunch for 2024/2025.
Norwich Sea Captains‘ 1st year defensemen Sam Adams(12) heads back home to Boulder, CO for his 2024/2025 college commit at Colorado State University Rams.
The 5’9″ 170 lbs. blue liner isn’t the biggest scorer with 2 goals and 6 assists in 27 games last year last season, but is a stable +3 rating.
He’s only 19-years old now, so he’s started school quickly.
Union College Dutchmen graduate center Liam Robertson(19) signs with Wichita Thunder for his rookie ECHL season, 2024/2025.
From Clarington, ON, the 6’2″ 170 lbs. forward did 2 OJHL seasons before doing 1 USHL prior to heading to school.
The 24-year old should definitely help his new pro team.
Philadelphia Little Flyers‘ 2nd year 6’5″ 205 lbs. left wing Cristo Walker(14) plays a junior best 46 EHL games, scoring a new high 20 assists and 26 points.
He would also get 3 goals and 3 assists in 8 playoff games.
From Kennett Square, PA, the 21-year old commits back closer to home at King’s College Monarchs for 2024/2025.
Undrafted rookie net minder Garrett Metcalf(39) originally signed on with Knoxville Ice Bears to start his pro career in the SPHL, but within a week off that occurring his home town Utah Grizzlies had a better offer ready.
After graduating from his third school on record, Long Island University Sharks, he would go 4-4 in his first ECHL stint with a 2.33 GAA and .915 SV%.
These stats proved good enough for them to offer the 6’4″ 195 lbs., former Anaheim Ducks‘ 6th round pick in the 2015 draft (#179 overall), now unrestricted free agent a 1-year deal to return to the crease.
The 25-year old 1st commit to UMASS-Lowell Riverhawks for only 1 year of little usage before pushing off to Mercyhurst University Lakers for 2 for the Salt Lake City, NV native, who will definitely help his team win games.
After going 2-2-1 for his new club with an outstanding 1.84 GAA and .932 SV%, he gets the nod from Lehigh Valley Phantoms and in his AHL debut gets a 2-1 win in overtime with 25 saves, posting a 0.99 GAA and .962 SV%.
He will return to Maverik Center his home state again for 2022/2023, the team he’s spent most of his time with since graduating college.
It will be little surprise to see him compete for the starter’s job.
For 2023/2024, the parent club of the team he spent most of last session with Colorado Eagles sign him to a contract.
He would head back to Utah to start the current frame, but through 4 games it is determined he should have dual hip replacement surgery (we can’t even imagine), so that will wrap up a very short-lived career, but what he turns it into next will be something to watch.
Looks like he is heading back to LIU Sharks and will jump behind the bench as an assistant coach, starting 2024/2025.
University Of New England Nor’easters‘ senior captain, defenseman Alex Sheehy(5) signs a 1st pro contract with the ECHL team right down the road from school Maine Mariners for 2023/2024.
The 6’2″ 204 lbs. blue liner takes a college hockey best 3 goals and 14 assists for 17 points with a 2nd +12 rating in a frame to his new duty.
He definitely has the chance to put up assist points as he did in his 2nd and final year of USPHL/NCDC juniors for Connecticut Jr. Rangers, striking for 22 helpers.
The 25-year old from North Salem, NY will be an interesting watch.
He finishes up his rookie season with 6 assists in 35 games and a not so terrible -3 rating to earn himself a contract to return to Maine country for 2024/2025.
Tufts University Jumbos‘ 2024/2025 commit, defenseman Maddox Lizotte(25) is playing his only year of junior hockey with South Shore Kings after starting the season in the NAHL with Springfield Jr. Blues, but maybe he wanted to stick closer to home.
The Harvard, MA native has 3 goals and 5 assists through 30 USPHL/NCDC games in the current frame and would actually move on to Jersey Hitmen for the last 11 games and playoffs.
He was captain at St. Marks School USHS-Prep as a top scoring senior.
The 5’11” 181 lbs. blue liner will definitely help his new team.
After a pair of years tending net for University Of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers‘ goaltender David Fessenden(41) has decided to step it up a level on a good opportunity through the transfer portal to join University Of New Hampshire Wildcats for some tough Hockey East action.
He had a tough outing as a freshman in limited use but last season, despite the poor 3-11-1 record basically looked to keep his team in contention most games with a 2.94 GAA and .910 SV%.
The massive 6’6″ 229 lbs. net minder put up his best numbers through 4 years of juniors in his final campaign for two year team, Northeast Generals, where he played a massive 44 NAHL games with a 20-13-8 record and 2.74 GAA and .915 SV%, and then had a decent little playoff run.
He committed to school just before this year started.
We fully expect the goalie, who could possibly just lie in net like the walrus in the Geico commercial to backstop his new club very effectively.
Having completed his senior year, the undrafted net minder is going to UMass Minutemen, where he could play himself onto some NHL radar to become an unrestricted entry level deal signing.
He actually decided to head to Canisius College Golden Griffins for a graduate frame, where he definitely was in net for a team that was sometimes challenged to win games.
Taking maybe a little time to see what sort of offers are out there for him to turn pro, he accepts a 1-year ECHL deal with Adirondack Thunder to play his rookie season, 2024/2025.

In 7 ECHL games, he has 2 goals and 2 assists on a non-playoff team.
The 5’10” 190 lbs. forward scored lots of assists (37) in his 2nd season of USHL juniors for Omaha Lancers and twice popped 15 goals.
From Surrey, BC, the 25-year old appears ready to go.
For 2023/2024, he is actually moved in a trade that sees him heading to Utah Grizzlies, which should turn out just about perfectly for him is how we’re seeing it.
He scores 12 goals and 35 assists in 68 games, but needs to clean up that +/- and will get another chance with a 2nd season for the Grizzlies agreed upon for 2024/2025.
