Merrimack College Crusaders‘ freshman defenseman Frank Djurasevic(23)  will head to Hockey East foe University Of Maine Black Bears for his sophomore frame, 2024/2025.

The 6’2″ 198 lbs. blue liner, who came from 3 years with Penctiton Vees, the last as captain, scored 3 goals and 6 assists in 35 games last season.

He won a pair of BCHL Championships in 2022 and 2023.

We expect the 22-year old from New Rochelle, NY to continue to take up his college game.

Maryland Black Bears‘ 2nd year 6’4″ 205 lbs. defenseman Luke Amell(2) takes his hothead 163 penalty minutes to a 2024/2025 commit at Sacred Heart University Pioneers.

He also scored a junior best 6 goals and 19 assists in 59 games with a +8 rating, then added another 6 assists in the playoffs.

From Mars, PA, the 20-year old played all his youth hockey in the Pittsburgh Penguins‘ system and should be a welcome Atlantic Hockey presence.

University Of Maine Black Bears‘ sophomore left wing Felix Trudeau(17) enters the transfer portal to next skate at Sacred Heart University Pioneers as a junior in 2024/2025.

The 6’2″ 190 lbs. Terrebonne, QC native will likely better connect for scoring in Atlantic Hockey.

He scored huge at Northwood School USHS-Prep and 1 BCHL junior frame for West Kelowna Warriors before school.

We’re not so sure he will double his scoring totals, but we think he will find his better footing.

After posting a huge session for South Shore Kings, scoring a mammoth 34 goals and 15 assists in 45 USPHL/NCDC games, right wing Timothy Heinke(26) is ready to commit to Quinnipiac University Bobcats for 2022/2023.

The 6’1″ 194 lbs. forward was always a decent scorer through USHS-Prep and 16U-18U AAA, but really found his footing in one year of junior hockey.

We’re making bets the 20-year old impacts the lineup as a freshman.

His use through 2 seasons is limited to just 16 games, which makes it tough to create momentum, but does come away with 3 assists and a +2 rating.

The Southington, CT native enters the transfer portal and will play his hockey next at Holy Cross College Crusaders and we are thinking Atlantic Hockey looks much different, better for the former junior hockey scorer.

University Of New Hampshire Wildcats‘ sophomore goaltender Tyler Muszelik(30) maybe a little unsurprisingly enters the transfer portal and will tend net next for Hockey East foe, University Of Connecticut Huskies in 2024/2025.

The 6’3″ 194 lbs. net minder is a Florida Panthers‘ 6th round draft pick in the 2022 draft (#189 overall).

He did 2 years at USNTDP and maybe a bit oddly was selected after a 1st not so amazing frame.

From Long Valley, NJ, we do think the 19-year old has a much better new season.

University Of Connecticut Huskies‘ Finnish-born, sophomore center Samu Salminen(13) is a New Jersey Devils‘ 3rd round pick in the 2021 draft (#68 overall) enters the transfer portal to go play some different college hockey with the current NCAA Division 1 champs, University Of Denver Pioneers.

The 6’2″ 185 lbs. forward played all of his junior and youth hockey back home.

He had 17 points in each of his 1st two frames and we look for that total to expand.

Ogden Mustangs‘ Swedish-born 2nd year defenseman Teddie Hember(22) played a 1st USPHL/NCDC season after making the jump, scoring big in Premier for his 1st frame.

The 6’1″ 172 lbs. blue liner scored 11 goals and 27 assists in 45 games, then went onto added another 3-6 in 8 before bowing out in the finals.

He will take his solid defensive game with offense upsides to a 2024/2025 at Salve Regina University Seahawks.

We look for the 21-year old to do well in CCC play.

14th year center Tyler McNeely(14) steps back to re-join Germany3 for 2024/2025, but will switch allegiances, signing with Bietigheim Steelers, who he played for their DEL2 team earlier career with success for a couple of seasons.

The 5’10” 183 lbs. forward has suited up for 3 different German teams over 12 years of his career.

Undrafted, the former twice captain of Northeastern University Huskies, 1st signed with Bridgeport Sound Tigers (Islanders), but quickly moved on after 2 seasons closer to home, Burnaby, BC.

At 37-years old, he must still be having fun, playing pro hockey.
