Miami University (Ohi0) Redhawks‘ graduate defenseman Jack Clement(20) tied a college best 7 assists and signs a 1st deal with Cincinnati Cyclones.

The big 6’4″ 201 lbs. blue liner has skated 8 ECHL games with no points on a non-playoff team.

He won a 2018 NAHL Robertson Cup in his 1st year in the junior league and committed after more good play in his 2nd.

The 24-year old from Detroit, MI may have found a good landing spot close to school, but we shall see.

He is signed, but traded to Tulsa Oilers, who will definitely look to make good use of his size.

11th year center Chad Nehring(16) decided to head off for something new to start 2022/2023, signing with Grenoble of Ligue Magnus, but after popping 4 goals and 5 assists in just 6 games with a +8, heads back for his 5th DEL season, instead with fourth club Loewen Franfort.

A solid scorer, performer in the AHL, as a +10 player, he earned himself his only NHL contract with Ottawa Senators after scoring a career high 22 goals and 26 assists in the previous frame.

The 5’11” 201 lbs. former 4-year Lake Superior State University Lakers‘ forward left after that season.

At 35-years old, he’s still playing some excellent hockey and may not be eyeing an exit quite yet.

He grabs 12 goals and 10 assists back in Germany, which is good enough by their standards to keep him around and re-up him for another run.

You may think he should just transition straight into coaching where he is, but he has decided to wrap it up at age 37-years old, leaving behind 232 DEL games, 179 AHL, 130 ECHL and 147 NCAA, a really nice total and for his next role becomes a pro scout for Pittsburgh Penguins, starting 2024/2025.  Smooth move.

Quinnipiac University Bobcats‘ graduate defenseman Griffin Mendel(2) had his best college scoring season with his new school, almost equaling 4 years of totals he had at his initial one, University Of Denver Pioneers.

He takes his game to the pro level upon finishing up a 5th year of school and signs with Chicago Wolves for the rest of the AHL 2021/2022.

The towering 6’6″ 220 lbs. blue liner played a couple years of junior hockey, sort of close to home in Kelowna, BC for Penticton Vees and skated an equal 52 games, en route to a 2017 BCHL Championship in his 2nd session.

We think it’s his NCAA Division 1 +53 rating that gets the 23-year old the most notice.

In 10 games, he gets 2 assists with a +5 rating and then gets into 1 playoff contest, but leaves a +2.

The Kelowna, BC native is staying put for what will be his rookie season, 2022/2023

With 9 goals and 10 assists in his 1st frame, the big d-man earns himself a handsome 1-year NHL entry level deal from parent club Carolina Hurricanes.

He wasn’t really scoring, until he was reassigned down to Norfolk Admirals, where he finally struck for 3 goals and 3 assists in 8 games with a +3 rating

For 2024/2025, he takes his game to Czech Extraliga and signs with Rytiri Kladno.

University Of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves‘ 2022/2023 commit, graduate center Adam Tisdale(29) arrives through the portal transfer for a year of eligibility at his third school.

The 5’9″ 172 lbs. forward played the past 2 seasons at Sacred Heart University Pioneers and leaves them scoring 2 goals and 5 assists in 27 NCAA Division 1 games with a +2 rating.

He committed to his first school Clarkson University Golden Knights after a breakout 2nd AJHL season for Canmore Eagles, but was sent to the USHL for a campaign with Dubuque Fighting Saints, where he continued to score well.

The 23-year old from Cochrane, AB will likely fit in well with his new club and love the surroundings.

He somehow spends 6 years at college and would leave scoring a high 13 points last season and he signs a 1st pro contract with Kalamazoo Wings for his ECHL rookie season, 2024/2025.

Mercyhurst University Lakers‘ senior captain, center Marko Reinfenberger(24) signs his rookie season contract with Norfolk Admirals for 2024/2025 after originally suiting up for South Carolina Stingrays in 14 games, getting 3 goals and 1 assist with a +2 rating.

The 6′ 198 lbs. forward scored best as a junior with 6 goals and 8 assists.

He also played 4 years of junior hockey, concluded with 1 very good frame in the NAHL before college.

The Hastings, MN 25-year old will probably do decently as a rookie in the ECHL.

Yale University Bulldogs‘ senior left wing Cole Donhauser(23) takes a new, modest college best scoring 6 goals and 7 assists in 27 games with a +1 rating on a terrible team to a 1st pro contract with Coventry Blaze for 2023/2024.

The 6′ 195 lbs. forward should find room in the EIHL to score more than he has in school.

From Kenmore, NY, he played only 1 BCHL season for Chilliwack Chiefs.

The 23-year old is likely ready to get started.

Through 7 games, he nets 2 assists, but may be yearning for hockey a little closer to home, so signs for the remainder of 2024 with Idaho Steelheads.

He lasts just 2 games there and is traded to Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

After a not so amazing 2023/2024, he signs on for what he hopes is his rookie season with Worcester Railers, 2024/2025.

University Of New England Nor’easters‘ 2nd year, graduate left wing Garrett Devine(28) came over after limited usage in 3 years at Providence College Friars.

The 6’1″ 205 lbs. forward popped out 11 goals and 7 assists in 30 games with a +10 rating as a senior.

In 10 games through the current frame he has 2 goals and 3 assists.

He did just 1 USPHL/NCDC season with South Shore Kings, then sat a year before heading to his 1st school.

The 26-year old from Windsor, CO is looking right at home playing D3 hockey.

He finishes up with school and it’s time to turn pro and he signs an ECHL deal with the team closest to where he played his college hockey, Maine Mariners.

In 6 games, he comes away with a first assist and is asked to return for his official rookie season in a Mariners‘ jersey.

University Of Guelph Gryphons‘ graduate center Ted Nichol(26) signs a 1st pro deal to join Florida Everblades for the remainder of the 2022/2023 season.

The 5’11” 201 lbs. forward hasn’t been the biggest scorer through his college career, grabbing a best 9 goals 12 assists in 24 USports‘ games through the shortened 2019/2020 frame.

He arrived at school after 5 years at juniors including 4 Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL.

The 26-year old may just have a big enough frame to have a huge effect in the ECHL.

He played in 15 games to finish off the regular frame with 1 goal and 2 assists, but appear in no playoff games.

For 2023/2024, he signs with Kalamazoo Wings, which will likely give him some league scoring success.

He actually only gets 4 goals and 1 assist in 34 games last season, but they see something and want him back in a Wings‘ jersey for 2024/2025.

Sacred Heart University Pioneers‘ Belarus-born, graduate left wing Mark Cheremeta(24) signs a 1st pro deal for 2024/2025 with ECHL team, Kalamazoo Wings.

The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward also played 3 years at Ohio State University Buckeyes and as a freshman with Boston University Terriers.

He came over as a teenager and elevated his game as a junior player to connect big in his only UPSHL/NCDC frame before school.

At 25-years old, he should do pretty well in the league.

Undrafted, center Justin Young(28) finished up a 2nd, graduate year with American International College Yellowjackets, scoring a college career high 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points with a +18 rating in 36 NCAA Division 1 games and took it to a 1st pro contract with Allen Americans.

In 7 ECHL games, the 6′ 183 lbs. forward has an assist with a +2 rating.

He has yet to appear in a Kelly Cup Playoff game.

The Leduc, AB native played 3 seasons in the local AJHL, scoring very decent numbers.

At 24-years old, we’re sure the one-time University Of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks pivot can turn his start into a full year’s contract, if he wants one.

He would actually skate in 5 playoff games, grabbing an assist and was a +1 rating.

For his efforts on an ato, he is given a 1-year contract to stay in Texas.

In 2023/2024, he decides to change sweaters and signs a 1-year deal with Norfolk Admirals, which he’ll have to work harder for, almost certainly.

He would take off for Germany3, signing with Herner EV 2007 and do fairly well in 14 games scoring, but for 2024/2025 wants to come back, so re-signs with the Admirals.
