The 25-year old is a restricted free agent at the end of the current session, but should be a bit of a no-brainer to keep in the fold.
Tallying 3 goals and 29 assists last season, the Milton, MA native will stay in Texas for a 3rd session, signing a 1-year, 2-way deal with the parent club.

He plays a college career best 33 games and had better on ice accountability than he had previously to sign an ato with Jacksonville Icemen, get things going as a pro and has 1 assist in 3 ECHL games.

Colgate University Tigers‘ senior center Arnaud Vachon(22) enters the transfer portal for his new adventure at first year NCAA Division 1 Augustana College Vikings.
The sturdy 6’2″ 209 lbs. forward twice won 2017 and 2019 AJHL Championships with his 3-year junior team, Brooks Bandits.
From Laval, QC, the 24-year old should love the schedule his new team faces.
He would score a new best 8 goals and tie his 8 assist mark junior to sign a 1st pro contract with Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

RPI Engineers‘ graduate defenseman C.J. Regula(8) transferred from 4 years at Ohio State University Buckeyes and must have a smile on his face, as he tied his college highs at 2 for goals and is 2 assists off 4 to tie that mark through 21 games.
The fairly big 6’3″ 205 lbs. blue liner did 2 years, mostly NAHL junior hockey, posting an almost identical 10 goals, but exploded 28 assists in his 2nd season.
From West Bloomfield, MI, the 25-year old is looking really good playing Atlantic Hockey.
He scores a new college best, tying 2 goals and new high 5 assists and 7 points and signs a 1st pro contract with Worcester Railers.
We think he will be solid on the blue line and scores himself a 1st ECHL goal in 5 games played.

South Shore Kings‘ late arrival, right wing Jack DesRuisseaux(13) must feel like 3 teams the charm, as this is his 3rd club of his only junior season, cycling 1st through the AJHL for a 4 game taste to 15 NAHL contests with close to home New Hampshire Mountain Kings, but finally arrived in the USPHL/NCDC and looks right to earn a 2024/2025 commit to Sacred Heart University Pioneers.
In 23 games, the 5’10” 170 lbs. forward has 8 goals and 8 assists.
From Manchester, NH, the 20-year old will probably do pretty well playing Atlantic Hockey style.

Colgate University Raiders‘ senior net minder Carter Gylander(37) is a Detroit Red Wings‘ 7th round draft pick in the 2019 draft (#191 overall).
The 6’5″ 190 lbs. goalie had 2 stellar AJHL seasons with Sherwood Park Crusaders that earned him to selection.
He is currently 8-10-3 with a 2.97 GAA and .905 SV% in 21 appearances.
The 24-year old Beaumont, AB native should be an easy NHL entry level sign to see what happens.
Upon finishing up his college season, he signs a 2-year deal and will report to affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins on an ato for the remainder of the year.

Quinnipiac University Bobcats‘ junior goal scorer Jacob Quillan(16) signs a 2-year NHL entry level deal with Toronto Maple Leafs, leaving a year at school on the table.
Undrafted, he had a college best 29 assists and 46 points in 39 games with a +17 rating last season.
The Dartmouth, NS native did only 1 more than point-per-20-game BCHL COVID-busted season for Penticton Vees.
He’s ready at 22-years old for the next step.

Merrimack College Warriors‘ graduate center Mac Welsher(22) already has a college career best 7 assists and we think will surpass the 7 goals he struck for as a senior.
He’s small at 5’8″, but is pretty sturdy at 183 lbs., so works it pretty well on ice with a +7 rating.
From Grosse Pointe, MI, he had a strong 2nd USHL frame with Des Moines Buccaneers before committing.
The 24-year old is the type of player to likely turn pro to see what might be there for him.
He does sign as soon as his team is eliminated from Hockey East action with Adirondack Thunder and does embrace ECHL style play, as he already has 2 goals and 2 assists in 6 games with a +2 rating.

University Of Notre Dame Fighting Irish graduate goaltender Ryan Bischel(30) takes his 105 games played, 2.46 GAA, .924 SV% and 8 shutouts to a 1st pro deal with Providence Bruins.
The 6’1″ 190 lbs. net minder won the 2018 Clark Cup Championship in his 2nd season with Fargo Force.
From Medina, MN, the 24-year old will likely adjust well to ECHL play.

Plymouth State University Panthers‘ senior captain center Jeromey Rancourt(88) signs a 1st pro deal with Port Huron Prowlers and already has an assist in his FPHL debut, a 6-5 win.
The 5’11” 190 lbs. forward was a bit schizophrenic on the statsheet through school, scoring 12 goals as a sophomore and 12 assists in his junior frame.
He had 12 points through a college best 28 games last season with a +3 rating.
From Lewiston, ME, the 25-year old is likely pretty grateful for the opportunity.
