He did 4 years of USPHL Premier in his home state of Wisconsin with Hudson Havoc.

The 23-year old from New Richmond should do well at his new school’s NCHA division.

University Of Maine Black Bears‘ 2024/2025 commit, center Ryan Remick(28) is coming off a very good 2nd NAHL season, scoring 13 goals and 24 assists in 52 games with a +9 rating split over 2 teams.

The 6′ 174 lbs. forward really arrived with Northeast Generals, where his aggressive, offense style led to points on the scoresheet.

In his 2nd session with the team, he looks to eclipse last year’s marks before he commits to school with already 6 goals and 6 assists in 11 games.

From Sparta, NJ, the 21-year old will be a welcome fit to Hockey East style.

Montreal Canadiens‘ thus far unsigned draft pick, center Ty Smilanic(96) picked up in a trade with Florida Panthers has decided to switch up schools after a pair of years at Quinnipiac University Bobcats, he will head to University Of Wisconsin Badgers for his junior season.

He had a college career best 10 assists and 23 points last season.

The 6’1″ 174 lbs. forward twice skated USNTDP with solid enough results.

From Denver, CO, the 20-year old was a 3rd round pick in 2020 (#74 overall) and will likely do better scoring in the Big Ten.

Through only 14 games, he gets 1 goal and 1 assist.

He remains unsigned at the NHL level and as the new season is ready to roll, he signs with Trois-Rivieres Lions to possible stay close and potentially keep him a little on the radar.

Merrimack College Warriors‘ graduate center Jordan Seyfert(12) dips a toe in and comes away with a 1-year ECHL deal to Kalamazoo Wings for his rookie run, 2023/2024.

The 5’10” 179 lbs. forward seems like he puts up better numbers than he does, as 7 goals and 13 points were both college highs for him last season.

It was similar during his 2 years of junior hockey, yet he did manage to win himself back-to-back Clark Cups with different teams.

The 24-year old from Annville, PA knows how to win, so is a good guy to have on your team.

University Of Vermont Catamounts‘ 2024/2025 commit, 1st year Latvian-born, New Jersey Jr. Titans‘ right wing Kristofers Krumins(13) is off to a hot start with 5 goals in 12 NAHL games with a +1 rating.

We think the 6’2″ 198 lbs. forward could top at least 40 points in the frame before school.

He came over quickly to attend Don Bosco High School in Boston, where he light up scoring and also played youth hockey in New Jersey to catch his current team’s eye.

It’s his size and willingness to engage in the play that will bring him success at the college level.

Net minder Tyler Franchi(30) takes 2 years at Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen into the transfer portal to arrive at Concordia University-Wisconsin Falcons for his junior year 2023/2024.

The 6’1″ 174 lbs. Denville, NJ was stellar in youth hockey play coming up in his home state system.

He played only 9 EHL junior hockey games with Seacoast Spartans before getting called to come to school.

The 22-year old will likely see his game flourish playing ACHA.

Colby College Mules‘ 2024/2025 commit, South Shore Kings‘ 1st year center Owen Clifford(23) looks to have a single good USPHL/NCDC season before he heads to D3 college.

6’1″ 190 lbs., he plays an in-your-face style game and has 1 goal and 1 assist in 6 games this early look.

From Wake Forest, NC, he went to high school in MA at Deerfield Academy USHS-Prep.

The 19-year old will definitely be prepared to help his new college team win games, when he arrives.

 

Northeastern University University Huskies‘ graduate goaltender, transfer from Yale University Bulldogs Connor Hopkins(1) was sparingly used, but did also have injuries, appeared in only 10 games and 1 season of COVID inactivity before transferring in a year of eligibility.

The 6’1″ 200 lbs. net minder we bet would like to pull his numbers closer to where they were in USHS-Prep at Belmont Hill School, which doesn’t seem like a stretch if he can eek out some time in net at his new school.

He got his 1st test, entering the game in the 3rd period for the exhibition tilt vs. Quinnipiac University Bobcats.

The Malden, MA native probably had some family and friends in attendance stopped all 11 shots, including 4 fired during the extra session and let in nothing for the 3-2 shootout victory.

Quinnipiac University Bobcats‘ 1st year center, Mason Marcellus(20) scored the team’s first tally of the 2023/2024 season and that should basically be a surprise to no one.

The 5’9″ 165 lbs. forward that plays beyond his size was a top USHL scorer in both campaigns for Lincoln Stars, really taking it up in his 2nd session to 19 goals and 49 assists, tied for the league lead in 58 games as the team’s captain.

From Greely, ON, the undrafted 21-year old is definitely a firecracker out there and will be a difference maker on the scoresheet.

12th year defenseman Mark Louis(4) elects to return on a 1-year ECHL deal with Greenville Swamp Rabbits for 2023/2024.

The very big 6’4″ 224 lbs. blue liner has spent most of the last 6 years with Cardiff Devils of the EIHL, spare one he went to Slovak Extraliga.

He played 5 years of WHL before heading to St. Francis Xavier University Aigles Bleus, but left midway through his 4th year to sign with Portland Pirates of the AHL.

The Ponoka, AB native signed a 1-year NHL deal to join the parent club Arizona Coyotes after skating with them during that season’s playoff run.

At 36-years old, you have to wonder what he is thinking for his next move, but we do think could easily slide back across the pond and become an assistant coach with his long time club.
