The 25-year old Thunder Bay, ON native will be an interesting impact watch.
After 15 games with 3 assists and little accountability -14 rating, he decides to leave for Germany3, joining ESC Moskitos Essen for the remainder of the frame.

9th year right wing Shawn O’Donnell(92) takes a couple of seasons of good numbers in Metal Ligaen, most currently for SønderjyskE to a new endeavor with Dornbirner EC of IceHL, Austria.
The 6’2″ 209 lbs. power forward has spent the majority of his playing time in the AHL with Hartford Wolf Pack, but was basically a point-per-game guy in the lower ECHL.
Through junior hockey in the MJAHL, he produced big numbers before heading to college at St. Mary’s University Huskies, where he won the 2010 CIS University Cup Championship as a freshman.
The 33-year old from Cole Harbour, NS is likely to be pretty happy to still be playing pro hockey.
For 2022/2023, he heads back to the 1st league he joined coming over from the US, DEL2 and signs with EHC Freiburg.
After 24 games this season, he has tied his goal mark in the league at 8 and set a new assist high with 19 helpers to earn himself another year of his contract for 2024/2025, which has to be nice for the now 34-year old pivot.
UMass-Boston Beacons‘ junior, right wing Evan Googins(9) plays the game like a player obsessed.

The former University Of New Brunswick Reds‘ d-man played 5 years in the WHL for Medicine Hat Tigers before taking a year off, then heading to school.
At 35-years old, from Red Deer, AB, he’s not really showing signs of slowing down any.

After coming to Boston College Eagles for a graduate season after 4 fairly stellar years at Bowling Green University Falcons, goaltender Eric Dop(29) goes pro, agreeing to a 1-year deal with Tulsa Oilers for 2022/2023.
The small 5’10” 163 lbs. net minder went 12-15-5 last campaign, but even sometimes in losing efforts, would put up an absolutely stand-on-his-head save performance.
He had a 3.18 GAA and .900 SV%, which weren’t terrible.
The Lewis Center, OH native played only 1 session in juniors, initially in the NAHL, but quickly moved up to Tri-City Storm and appeared in 30 USHL games.
We expect the 23-year old to fight for a starting job immediately.
He’s yet to have any luck on a couple of stops though a couple ECHL clubs, but Utah Grizzlies have an immediate need and sign him up to see, if they have the net he can successfully backstop.

The 6′ 170 lbs., 20-year old forward from Duluth, GA plays a hard, power forward-type game.
He should become a contributor in Big Ten hockey play.

The 5’11” 181 lbs. blue liner is a Los Angeles Kings‘ 6th round pick in the 2019 draft (#157 overall) and averaged 20+ assists in 2 USHL junior seasons with Dubuque Fighting Saints.
A Lynnfield, MA native, who played up through the USHS-Prep circuit, initially agreed to head to Boston University Terriers, skated 8 games, but decided to leave north to join Penticton Vees, would register point-per-game numbers en route to a 2022 BCHL Championship.
The 21-year old definitely looks like he’s found a good space with his current college team and we could see him lasting the full term before turning pro.

11th year Swedish-born right wing Sebastian Stalberg(17) has become captain of Sport in his 3rd season with the Liiga team.
He spent the previous 5 campaigns in his home country playing for Frolunda HC Indians, helping them to 4 Champion Hockey League Championships and 2 SHL titles.
The 6’1″ 185 lbs. former University Of Vermont Catamounts got on San Jose Sharks‘ radar and signed a 2-year entry level deal, but failed to make any real impression, leading him to look overseas for a better outlet.
At 32-years old, he may have not found it at the highest level, but has definitely eeked out his own fortunes.
