This all came after 3 WHL sessions and 2 in lower junior leagues before heading to school.
It’s possible the 27-year old has found a good spot to play.

2nd year center Greg Smith(44) started his 2nd season with Adirondack Thunder, but 3 ECHL games in was released and immediately grabbed by Greensboro Gargoyles.
In 22 games, he has 5 goals and 5 assists.
From Ajax, ON, he did 5 years of juniors before heading to Lakehead University Thunderwolves for 4.
The 27-year old started as a pro in the SPHL, but played himself up and looks to stay.

UMASS Minutemen junior right wing Cam O’Neill(8) is looking at college highs scoring this season with a new best 5 assists and 8 points with a sophomore season tying 3 goals.
The 6′ 198 lbs. forward is an Ottawa Senators‘ 5th round draft pick in 2022 (#143 overall).
From Odenton, MD, he did 1 USHL year before college.
The 22-year old will be a definite eye for an NHL entry level.

Western Connecticut University Wolves‘ freshman defenseman Camden Carver(11) has a 1st collegiate goal and 2 assists in 16 games on a new D3 for 2025/2026 hockey team.
The 5’10” 200 lbs. blue liner did 2 successful USPHL/NCDC frames with Mercer Chiefs.
From Detroit, MI, the 20-year did all his youth hockey close to home.

Anna Maria College AMCATS‘ junior 2nd half season transfer from uneven, little use at Norwich University Cadets, center Brady Harroun(28) has sprung to life with his new club, scoring 3 goals in 7 games.
The 6′ 181 lbs. went on a point spree in his 2nd year juniors with Timmins Rock, connecting for 50 goals and 46 assists in 57 games, then another 15 points in the playoffs for a 2023 NOJHL Championship.
From St. Albert, AB, the 23-year old has arrived at a good spot for himself.

3rd year New Jersey 87’s right wing Chris Erasmus(22) played his way up from the EHLP, where he helped win a 2025 Championship with 13 goals in 9 games.
He scored 19 goals and 20 assists in 34 games last season.
The 5’11” 165 lbs. forward has elevated to EHL play and is still scoring with 10 goals and 11 assists in 30 games.
For 2026/2027, the Unionville, CT 20-year old commits to Misericordia University Cougars.

3rd year Johnstown Tomahawks‘ defenseman Sean Morgan(19) commits to University Of New England Nor’easters for 2025/2026.
In 39 games, the 6′ 190 lbs. blue liner has 3 assists this season.
From Nashville, TN, the 20-year old did all his youth hockey in Nashville Jr. Predators‘ system.

New Hampshire Mountain Kings‘ big 6’4″ 201 lbs. 1st year NAHL defenseman Cael Knutson(6) commits closer to home for college at College Of St. Scholastica Saints, 2026/2027.
The Bemidji, MN native has 6 goals and 2 assists in 34 games this season.
He has played his way up through juniors and we think does well at school.

Quinnipiac University Bobcats‘ sophomore defenseman Drew Hockley(8) leaves the program and heads back to junior hockey in Canada, as he signs with Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL for the remainder of 2025/2026.
The 6’4″ 185 lbs. blue liner has 4 assists in 9 games with a +3 rating for his new team.
He left his 2nd BCHL season with Victoria Grizzlies to go to school.
From Kentville, NS, the 20-year old is likely to play himself into a place where he is one to keep an eye on.

Hiram College Terriers‘ senior left wing Shane Ward(48) is playing like he has something to prove out there, despite playing on the 1st year D3 team that is so young, it struggles to stay in games.
The 5’9″ 170 lbs. forward has 2 assists in a college high 17 games.
From Glastonbury, CT, the 26-year old has cycled through a few schools, starting with no games COVID at Bryn Athyn College Lions, Alvernia University Wolves, and finally Misercordia University Cougars before choosing yet another new school, where he looks to be gelling much better.
