Dustin Geregach (51)

Mercyhurst University Lakers‘ 2022/2023 commit, 2nd year Johnstown Tomahawks‘ defenseman Dustin Geregach(51) is definitely on his way to junior high marks, already grabbing a best 5 goals and 19 points with a +9 rating in just 28 NAHL games.

The 6′ 181 lbs., 20-year old blue liner has definitely put up points in the past through high school and youth hockey clubs, so may restart that in a bigger way as he heads into Atlantic Hockey play, but staying accountable is huge as well.

He signs a deal with Greenville Swamp Rabbits upon tourney completion and goes on to score 2 goals and 11 assists in 18 ECHL games.

This is easily good enough to earn an invite to join the team for his official rookie season, 2025/2026.

Josh Manson (42)

9th year defenseman Josh Manson(42) signs a new 4-year NHL deal worth $4.5M AAV with Colorado Avalanche after helping them claim the 2022 Stanley Cup in not even his 1st year with the team.

He was originally an Anaheim Ducks‘ 6th round pick in the 2011 draft (#160 overall) and stayed with them for 8+ years.

The 30-year old, Hinsdale, IL native played 3 seasons, including junior captain at Northeastern University Huskies before signing an entry level contract.

Continuing to do well despite being limited to 48 games due to injury, he signs a 2-year deal to continue in an Avalanche jersey.

Anthony Repaci (81)

4th year Worcester Railers‘ center Anthony Repaci(81) re-signs for a 3rd season with the team after posting an ECHL career best 27 goals and 54 points, 1 off his assist best of 28.

The 6′ 194 lbs. forward did 3 years of junior hockey in the close by OJHL for hometown Toronto Jr. Canadiens before heading to St. Mary’s University Huskies for 5 campaigns prior to turning pro.

At 28-years old, he will likely continue to score big in the league.

After a bit of an injury plagued campaign last year, but still scoring well, he will return for a 4th crack at getting this Railers‘ team more ready and into the playoffs.

In 57 games, he scores a new high 29 goals and 36 assists for best 65 points and he will return for a 5th season, 3rd as captain with Worcester.

Shane Vansaghi (23)

Michigan State University Spartans‘ freshman right wing Shane Vansaghi(23) just became Philadelphia Flyers‘ 2nd round pick in the 2025 draft (#48 overall).

The 18-year old from St. Louis, MO finished up youth hockey in St. Louis Blues‘ system, then went on young to the USNTDP, where he was able to do decently enough for himself.

At 6’3″ 210 lbs., he is a big frame and saw an ability to score in college with 6 goals and 10 assists in 37 games with a +10 rating.

Chris Wagner (14)

12th year center Chris Wagner(14) signs a 1-year deal to return to Colorado Avalanche, which almost certainly has the 32-year old seeing most of his playing time with their affiliate Colorado Eagles.

In his last couple of seasons under contract with Boston Bruins, he spent most of his playing time in the AHL with Providence Bruins.

He was originally an Anaheim Ducks‘ 5th round pick in the 2010 draft (#122 overall) and mostly stayed with them for 6 years.

The 6’ 195 lbs. forward from Walpole, MA left after 2 years at Colgate University Raiders to turn pro and likely made a pretty good decision.

He of 363 appearances in the minors and 360 NHL games would be an amazing coach going forward.

17 games in the minors with 4 goals and 4 assists and a +3 rating and 10 up in the show for another 1 goal and 1 assist with another +3 rating and he is happily invited to wear an Avalanche jersey for another season.

He spends 28 games with the contract team and 44 on reassignment, where he equals perfectly his best scoring with 12 goals and 19 assists.

Going forward, he almost smartly signs a 2-year minor league deal with Springfield Thunderbirds that will likely just equal good things for his future, especially considering he is still contributing big.

Colton Hargrove (7)

cHp wants to wish one-time Boston Bruins‘ 7th round draft pick in the 2012 draft (#205 overall) left wing Colton Hargrove(7) a happy retirement in what’s easily too early of an exit, forced upon him by recurring back injuries.

The former Western Michigan University Broncos standout leaves hockey with a career high 14 goals and 22 assists for 38 points in 45 IceHL games for Ferhervar AV19.

He was basically good for 15 goals and 15 assists for any team he skated for.

The 6’1″ 215 lbs. power forward was always a pleasure to watch play for Providence Bruins in his first three pro years.

We wish the 28-year old Dallas, TX native, who did get to skate fairly close to home in Cedar Park one season for Texas Stars all the best whatever life holds for him moving forward with what’s next.

Well, he did sit out 2021/2022, after what maybe was a bit of a difficult 2nd run in Austria’s top hockey.

For last season though, when the air had completely cleared, he decided to lace them back up for the close to home Allen Americans.

He became the team’s captain and went onto as they said it an MVP frame, scoring a career best by a mile 39 goals and 46 assists.

That’s basically enough for the now 31-year old to want to return to play some more hockey.

Limited to just 12 games last season, because of a knee injury, he actually become a licensed real estate agent, but for 2024/2025 will continue to play hockey, but is moving away from home for his 9th season to join 2-time champs, Florida Everblades.

After scoring pretty well for his new club, especially come playoff time, he will move back home at age 33-years old on a 1-year deal with Allen.

Brendan Less (23)

Quinnipiac University Bobcats‘ graduate defenseman Brendan Less(23) is definitely glad he added an extra session to his college game after entering the portal transfer from 4 years at Dartmouth College Big Green.

Tying his 2nd most, 31 NCAA Division 1 games played, he has exceedingly good new bests with 2 goals, 14 assists, 16 points and a big +28 rating.

The 5’11” 170 lbs. blue liner committed in his 2nd year at Choate Rosemary Hall without recording a lot of points, so they saw something more in his game they liked.

At 23-years old, it’s tough to say the route he takes after 5 years in the ECAC, but the Kinnelon, NJ native may find some space to grow his game as a pro.

After his team was eliminated from tournament play, the d-man signed an ECHL contract to join Worcester Railers.

He would appear in 6 games, grabbing a first pro point, an assist.

For 2022/2023, he signs with Jacksonville Icemen, a team he should gel well with.

He actually gets released from training camp and quickly inks with Iowa Heartlanders, where he should stick and do nicely.

In 22 games, he notches 4 assists, but Adirondack Thunder see something they can work with and sign him for 2023/2024.

Through a season high 44 games, he scores 2 goals and 11 assists with a +12 rating to easily gain an invite to return to continue wearing a Thunder uniform.

He gets loaned up to Syracuse Crunch for 1 AHL game, while scoring a best 19 assists and 20 points with a +11 rating last season, but gets himself traded to Atlanta Gladiators for 2025/2026 and will need a contract.

Chris Theodore (7)

University Of Vermont Catamounts‘ graduate left wing Chris Theodore(7) may have not put up best in his 6th college frame, but was still a competent 8 goals and 6 assists in 27 outings.

The 5’6″ 178 lbs. forward came down from his hometown in Beaconsfield, QC for USHS-Prep, which he detonated, then slipped away for a junior year in the CCHL before committing.

He originally committed to 4 years at American International College Yellowjackets, and may have been granted a year of exception due to only 3 games as a sophomore.

From there, he moved onto what must have been his senior year at Union College Dutchmen.

The 26-year old certainly would get a look if he decides to turn pro.

He signs for 2024/2025 as a rookie in Ligue Magnus with Les Jokers Cergy-Pontoise.

After scoring 8 goals and 8 assists in 44 games, he will next head to DEL2, signing with Lausitzer Fuchse for 2025/2026.
