Canisius College Golden Griffins‘ sophomore right wing Matteo Giampa(8) enters the transfer portal and will start his junior year at Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks for 2025/2026.
The 6’1″ 200 lbs. forward has 18 goals as a freshman and 22 assists last season.
From Virgil, ON, the 21-year old did 2 successful frames of AJHL juniors before school.

Long Island University Sharks‘ sophomore goaltender Noah Rupprecht(31) enters the transfer portal and next tend net for Ferris State University Bulldogs, starting 2025/2026.
The 5’11” 179 lbs. net minder had a solid last frame, posting a 12-5 record for a team posting their best home record ever with a 2.33 GAA and .901 SV%.
He did 3 junior frames, mostly in the NAHL.
From Thief River Falls, MN, he excelled huge at the high school.

Undrafted 4th year center Brady Ferguson(12) re-ups for another two seasons with Rogle BK after putting up 2 goals and 9 assists in 24 SHL games with a +4 rating, as 2021/2022 rolls.
The 6′ 194 lbs. forward had a bit of an odd start and maybe a little bit of an odd contract experience with Toronto Marlies that saw him mostly reassigned to affiliate Newfoundland Growlers.
Following an awesome college career at Robert Morris University Colonials, scoring 66 goals and 101 assists with a mind-blowing +41 before signing an ato and grabbing 4 assists in 5 AHL games to start his pro career.
Oddly, although signed, he wasn’t able to stick at that higher level and was one of the more than point-per-game providers driving the ECHL team to a 2019 Kelly Cup Championship.
The 27-year old has definitely found a nice hockey home in Sweden and would be no surprise to see him stay.
He has shown point increases with each session, arriving at 25 last run in 52 games.
In 2023/2024, he already has 2 goals and 3 assists in 8 games, so we believe we are looking at Swedish career point bests in his 4th year there, and he was re-upped for 2024/2025 already.
He had a career best 10 goals last season, but has decided to look around and signs for 2025/2026 with EHC Red Bull Munchen.

Northern Cyclones‘ 2nd year center Michael Markowski(18) posts junior high scoring 27 goals and 25 assists in 54 USPHL/NCDC games, then another 4-4 in 10 playoff matchups before bowing out late.
The big 6’2″ 192 lbs. forward left a strong USHS-Prep frame before juniors.
He commits to St. John Fisher University Cardinals for 2025/2026.

Albertus Magnus College Falcons‘ senior center Tim Manning(12) signed a pro contract with Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs upon finishing up tournament play.
The 5’10” 181 lbs. gritty forward has skated 12 SPHL games, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists before opting out of the playoffs.
He scored an identical 7 goals and 10 assists as a junior and senior, but scored best, 11 goals and another 10 assists as a sophomore.
From Concord, OH, he scored big at USHS-Prep before juniors.
The 24-year did 1 year of EHL junior hockey for Valley Jr. Warriors and was a lead for that team.
No surprise, he is finding room as a pro.

Elmira Aviators‘ 1st year left wing Jeff Otwell(28) takes some best NAHL scoring, 14 goals and 16 assists in 53 games to a 2025/2026 commit at eastern powerhouse, Curry College Colonels.
The 6′ 174 lbs. forward should add even more depth to an already good squad up front.
From Frisco, TX, the 21-year old cycled through a few junior teams before arriving where he did.
We look for him to contribute quickly.

New Jersey 87’s 1st full year left wing Aidan Elbrecht(19) has new junior best scoring, 4 goals and 14 assists in 43 EHL games.
The 6’1″ 174 lbs. forward commits to Framingham State University Rams for 2025/2026.
From Hoffman States, IL, the 21-year old will add some scoring depth to the MASCAC club.

2nd/3rd year center Tyler Boland(10) is heading over to skate in DEL next season, joining Iserlohn Roosters for 2023/2024.
The 6′ 194 lbs. forward played 44 AHL games with contract club, Manitoba Moose, good for 9 goals and 10 assists, and was only loaned down for 11 in the ECHL with Newfoundland Growlers, where he once again rung the bell a bit too loud for the lower league maybe.
He played 4 years of QMJHL for Rimouski Oceanic, blowing the lid off scoring in his final year with 48 goals and 55 assists in 68 games with a +5 rating.
Instead of turning pro immediately following that hockey experience, he decided to go to University Of New Brunswick Reds and won 3 of 4 USports Championships and would have maybe won a 4th, if they had playoffs in 2020 and they didn’t play 2020/2021.
The 26-year old from St. John’s, NL should light up Germany’s top league pretty nicely.
He is scoring nicely, but could improve his +/-, although he may be approaching fan favorite status, so he is wanted to return for a 3rd run in a Roosters‘ jersey.

University Of Minnesota Golden Gophers‘ 2023/2024 commit, 2nd year USNTDP center Oliver Moore(11) is 2023 draft eligible.
The 5’11” 176 lbs. forward was basically a point-per-game scorer through his 2 years in juniors.
A Mounds View, MN native, the 18-year old is likely sitting on his hands, but not for long as he is selected in the 1st round, #19 overall by Chicago Blackhawks.
After 2 seasons of college hockey, running up 21 goals and 45 assists with an overall +29 rating, he decides to sign with the team that selected him.
In 9 NHL games, he recorded no points.
