Johnson & Wales University Wildcats 2nd year senior captain, center Brent Rickett(5) grabbed himself a 1st collegiate hat trick in a recent 6-4 non-conference win.
The 6′ 185 lbs. forward came over from playing few games at Norwich University Cadets.
He was a huge scorer his 2nd junior season, 1st with Boston Jr. Rangers for 30+ goals and assists in 45 EHL games.
From Portland, ME, he is a good leader with his college team.
Upon finishing up his college career, he signs a 1st pro contract with Ronoake Rail Yard Dawgs of the SPHL and will get started.
Franklin Pierce University Ravens‘ Australian-born, sophomore defenseman Declan Bronte(21) came over from just 2 games use at Salem State University Vikings, as a freshman.
He played only 11 games in 2023/2024, scoring 1 assist.
The 5’10” 160 lbs. blue liner did 2 EHL years with Connecticut Chiefs, and even left to head back home to play some pro hockey in the AIHL with CBR Brave, scoring quite nicely.
He looks to be doing that each season now, which is a great idea.
The 22-year old from Melbourne is a good hockey story.
St. Anselm College Hawks‘ giant 6’5″ 229 lbs. junior defenseman Will van der Veen(23) came over from almost no use at Bowdoin College Polar Bears.
He has skated 27 games, scoring 5 goals and 6 assists with a +7 rating.
From Duxbury, MA, the 20-year old scored big 1 season in high school.
At this point, he is playing as hard as he can trying to take his team as far as it can go NE 10 playoffs.
Plymouth State University Panthers‘ 2nd year, junior right wing Carson Lanceleve(24) doesn’t quite have the scoring punch he had last season with only 2 goals and 14 assists in 23 games with a +6 rating.
The forward looks smaller than 5’10” 160 lbs. listed and had 13 goals and 20 assists with a +15 on a higher scoring team last frame, after transferring from his freshman year at SUNY-Canton Roos, where in 10 games he had 4 goals and 5 assists.
From Stewiacke, NS, the 23-year old played 3 seasons in the MJAHL, scoring 12 goals twice.
He looks like he needs to insert himself into the MASCAC game a bit more .

The 6’2″ 205 lbs. committed after his first BCHL season for Victoria Grizzlies, then in his follow-up went on to score junior best 8 goals and 45 assists in 58 games.
He transferred for 2021/2022 from 4 years at St. Lawrence University Saints.
The undrafted, 25 year old is definitely a good player to see what develops.
Upon completing his 5th year, the native of Naperville, IL signs a 1st pro deal with Iowa Heartlanders and has a 1st ECHL goal and 2 assists in 6 games with a +1 rating on a team that has been losing.
He would conclude his short spell with 1 goal and 7 assists in 11 games with a +1 rating.
For 2023/2024, he signs with Orlando Solar Bears and should be able to help their blue line not give up goals and score points.
He gets released after 2 goals and 2 assists in 24 games and quickly picked up by Greenville Swamp Rabbits, who think they can add to those totals.
Wentworth Institute Of Technology Leopards‘ graduate center Brendan Young(18) posted a new college best 6 assists and 12 points this season after transferring in for a year of eligibility from 4 years at SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinals.
The 5’9″ 181 lbs. forward played 2 years of junior hockey, blowing the lid off scoring in NOJHL for Blind River Beavers.
From Lefoy, ON, it would be little surprise to see the 25-year old look for what could be next.
