The 5’11” 160 lbs. blue liner had a better freshman run, getting 4 goals and 14 assists in 24 games with a +19 rating.
He had 34 assists in his one USPHL/NCDC season for Junior Bruins before school.
The 21-year old will definitely have his eyes opened some by Hockey East.
Ohio State University Buckeyes‘ Swedish-born, junior center Travis Treloar(97) takes a college best scoring 8 goals and 13 assists to the transfer portal to arrive at 2023 NCAA Division 1 Champs, Quinnipiac University Bobcats for his senior campaign in 2023/2024.
The 5’11” 176 lbs. forward had 2 successful runs at USHL juniors, but really took it up in his 2nd round with Lincoln Stars, notching point-per-game numbers.
He at 22-years old will likely do pretty well in ECAC style game.
Providence College Friars‘ sophomore right wing Cody Monds(19) is going to trade in his Hockey East time for some ECAC action, as he hooks up with Clarkson University Golden Knights for 2023/2024.
The small 5’9″ 170 lbs. forward had a pair of successful junior swings, 1st through the BCHL, then the USHL with Fargo Force.
He seemed to equal his output in his freshman year, but did drop off last season as a sophomore.
We are almost sure he is going to find his scoring footing with his new college team.
Providence College Friars‘ senior goaltender Austin Roden(36) will head off to explore a 3rd school, when he hooks up with Clarkson University Golden Knights for 2023/2024 to start a graduate degree program.
The 6’1″ 195 lbs. net minder committed to his 1st school, University Of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks after 2 solid junior BCHL frames for Merritt Centennials.
Undrafted, the 25-year old old from Surrey, BC could find some big success with his new college team in the ECAC.
UMass Minutemen right wing Ryan Sullivan(19) will do his senior year at Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks for 2023/2024.
He was a decent scorer for 2 years of USHL junior with Sioux Falls Stampede, but hasn’t equaled the task in college.
The 5’11” 190 lbs. forward from Grosse Pointe, MI started his hockey in the Honeybaked system.
He may find NCHC play a bit easier than Hockey East, but we shall see.
Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks‘ 2023/2024 commit, Latvian-born center Ray Vitolins(26) took a season away from college and skated a full USHL frame for Green Bay Gamblers, running up the scoresheet with 22 goals and 27 assists in 55 games after two full runs at University Of Vermont Catamounts.
Maybe when the 6′ 187 lbs. player arrived at Hockey East, it was a bit more than he was ready for following just a half season of juniors and some Latvia’s top league with HS Riga.
He will likely be more ready for the NCHC schedule his new team pulls.
Undrafted Brown University Bears‘ senior defenseman James Crossman(26) will take his game to Michigan State University Spartans for 2023/2024.
He posted maybe a little surprising 9 goals and 3 assists in his last frame at school.
The fairly big 6’3″ 200 lbs. blue liner put up 27 assists with Odessa Jackalopes in his 2nd of 3 NAHL seasons.
From Cherry Hills, CO, the 22-year old will have to compete hard in the Big Ten Conference.
Lake Superior State University Falcons‘ sophomore commits left wing Sasha Teleguine(24) for 2023/2024 after a decent 2nd season with Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL, who he hooked up with again following 1 year at University Of Connecticut Huskies that maybe didn’t go quite as planned.
The 5’11” 194 lbs. forward played his high school hockey at close by to home in North Attelboro, MA at Thayer Academy with great success before heading up north for juniors.
We’ll see if the 20-year old has better success in the CCHA.
Clarkson University Golden Knights‘ junior left wing Alexander Campbell(11) pushes off through the transfer portal for something new heading into 2023/2024, his senior year and will play for Northeastern University Huskies.
The 5’10” 176 lbs. wasn’t able to match his output from his sophomore season (16 goals, 17 assists), but was close with 26 points (14, 12) in 34 games.
From Chateauguay, QC, the 22-year old had 2 very good junior BCHL and USHL sessions.
Hockey East may be a little bit of a college hockey wake up call.
Long Island University Sharks‘ sophomore defenseman Spencer Cox(4) enters the transfer portal and is up for a new challenge, heading to Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks for 2023/2024.
He committed to his 1st school after a decent NAHL frame for Chippewa Steel, getting 4 goals and 16 assists.
The 5’10” 181 lbs. blue liner, who sometimes skates forward, from Powell, OH will likely find the NCHC schedule a bit tougher to play, but may also add a little pepper to his game.
