He did 3 junior frames, mostly in the NAHL.
From Thief River Falls, MN, he excelled huge at the high school.

Plymouth State University Panthers‘ junior defenseman Donte DiPonio(79) spent the last 2 seasons at University Of New England Nor’easters, but figured into only 16 games overall with 1 goal and 2 assists, so entered the transfer portal to arrive at his new college hockey home.
He’s already skated 17 in the current frame, so obviously made a good decision, but he also has 5 goals and 11 assists with a +16 rating in just 17 games.
The small-ish 5’9″ 175 lbs. blue liner did mostly 2 USPHL/NCDC seasons, but never quite struck for any points.
From Trenton, WI, the 23-year old has made a smart choice about where he is playing his hockey.
He skates 26 games in his senior year for 2 goals and 10 assists with a +10 rating and takes it to a 1st pro contract with Quad City Storm.
In 3 SPHL games, he records no points, but is likely a good signing going forward.
Brown University Bears‘ sophomore goaltender Lawton Zacher(1) enters the transfer portal, as the hot pick up and will tend net up the street for Northeastern University Huskies starting 2025/2026.
The 6’2″ 179 lbs. net minder was stellar, helping the small ECAC team win games to the tune of 14-11-2 with a 2.48 GAA and .917 SV%, including 2 shutouts.
He did only 1 year of NAHL juniors after high school.
From Buffalo, NY, the 21-year will be stellar in Hockey East.
University Of Michigan Wolverines‘ freshman net minder Cameron Korpi(31) takes a season of learning the ropes with a top notch team to entering the transfer portal and will next try his hand at Union College Dutchmen.
He will be joining his senior brother, Carter Korpi at the school.
The big 6’4″ 172 lbs. goalie had 18 starts with a 7-6-1 record.
Coming up through the Honeybaked youth hockey program, he went onto 4 seasons of junior hockey before school.
He had an absolute mammoth last frame, staring 47 USHL games for Tri-City Storm, posting a record of 26-13-1.
From South Lyon, MI, the 20-year old will likely shine in the ECAC.
At the start of his 2nd season as assistant captain with Lac-St. Louis Lions of the QMAAA, defenseman Dylan Finlay(26) would commit to University Of Vermont for 2021/2022 after scoring a previous session tying 26 assists,
The 6’1″ 170 lbs. blue liner was definitely showing off his abilities to head man the puck for scoring chances.
He would next leave for the BCHL to join Powell River Kings, where he wouldn’t get a goal, but was good for 18 helpers.
The Quebec native decided to head to America for 2020/2021 amid a pandemic that was going to make the campaign tough anyway you put it, but the 19-year old was able to play himself a decent run for Maryland Black Bears, getting a pair of goals and 9 assists with a +1 in 33 NAHL games.
He was even better in the playoffs striking for 2 goals and 2 assists in 8 contests and should be ready for some Hockey East play.
Switching things up, he’s heads to University Of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves, which last him the last 3 seasons.
For 2025/2026, his senior year, he will head to Northeastern University Huskies, where he will finally face some Hockey East action.
Chicago Blackhawks‘ 7th round pick in the 2021 draft, Providence College Friars‘ junior transfer from a pair of years at University Of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs, defenseman Connor Kelley(13) is off to a hot start with his new team, having scored 3 assists in his 1st 3 games.
Almost oddly, the 6’1″ 190 lbs. blue liner didn’t put up many points for his old school team.
He actually hasn’t really ever put up points, even through 2 years with the USNTDP, so may be breaking new ground.
At 20-years old, we fully expect the Maple Grove, MN native to finish college before looking at pro possibilities.
Through 5 years of college hockey, he leaves a +34 player.
He doesn’t sign with his draft club, but instead inks a 2-year AHL deal with Colorado Eagles, where he should do well.
UMass Minutemen right wing Ryan Sullivan(8) will do his senior year at Miami University (Ohio) Redhawks for 2023/2024.
He was a decent scorer for 2 years of USHL junior with Sioux Falls Stampede, but hasn’t equaled the task in college.
The 5’11” 190 lbs. forward from Grosse Pointe, MI started his hockey in the Honeybaked system.
He may find NCHC play a bit easier than Hockey East, but we shall see.
As a graduate player, he would become captain and score a college best 6 goals and 4 assists in 34 games.
He takes these marks to a 1st pro contract with Savannah Ghost Pirates, where in 14 games, he has 2 assists.
Northeastern University Huskies‘ sophomore right wing Dylan Jackson(15) will join his twin brother Ty on University Of Arizona Sun Devils in 2022/2023, as he enters the transfer portal to host his junior year at the new school.
The small 5’9″ 165 lbs. forward spent most of last season injured on the sidelines, but in 8 games managed 3 assists.
An Oakville, ON native, he did one season of junior hockey in the OJHL, but headed to a pair of USHL frames before heading to school.
The 20-year old has a ton of energy out there and if can stay healthy will contribute.
In 3 years, including a graduate session at his new school, he scores decently with 10+ points, but is a +2 rating to leave college hockey.
He signs his 1st deal with his brother to skate for Deggendorfer SC of Germany3, where we expect them to do very well.
Lindenwood University Lions‘ graduate goaltender Alex Aslanidis(40) only played in 1 game this past season, but was a stellar go with only a 1.85 GAA and .905 SV% that he takes to a 1st pro contract with Kansas City Mavericks.
The very big 6’5″ 205 lbs. net minder came over from 2 seasons with American International College Yellowjackets and previously spent 2 at Western Michigan University Broncos.
From Morristown, NJ, the 24-year old performed well at high school.
