Kyle McClellan(31) takes a pair of impressive seasons with Mercyhurst University Lakers with a 2.46 GAA and .932 SV% to a new look as a junior for University Of Wisconsin Badgers.

The 6’1″ 185 lbs. goalie was twice impressive, first in the NAHL, then the USHL before heading to school.

A Manchester, MO native, he’s moving closer to home with this transition and will definitely help his new club.

Undrafted left wing Hunter Johannes(27) heads into the transfer portal for a new experience and comes out to host his senior year at the newly minted to NCAA Division 1 Lindenwood University Lions.

He has spent the last three seasons at American International College Yellowjackets and as a junior played a best 14 games scoring a modest high 3 goals and 2 assists.

The 6’3″ 209 lbs. forward was a very good scorer at Eden Prairie High, but only put up points in his 2nd junior session in the NAHL.

It would be surprising to see the 23-year old from Eden Prairie, MN not add to his scoring.

Junior left wing Jackson Jutting(16) is taking 2 years at Colorado College Tigers and heading closer to home in Savage, MN for his junior year agreeing with Bemidji State University Beavers.

The 5’10” 191 lbs. forward put up a college career best 3 goals and 7 assists as a sophomore.

He was a huge scorer at Prior Lake High and as senior captain scored 42 points in 24 USHS-MN games.

The 21-year old will likely continue to increase his scoring.

Goaltender Dominic Basse(22) takes a pair of seasons with Colorado College Tigers into the transfer portal to host his junior year at St. Cloud State University Huskies.

The 6’6″ 185 lbs. net minder is a Chicago Blackhawks‘ 6th round pick in the 2019 draft (#167 overall).

He hasn’t put up numbers through a USHL season of juniors and college that he did in youth hockey and high school, but has been on some trying clubs to get wins.

The 21-year old will be a junior and look to up his game.

Babson College Beavers‘ senior captain Mike Egan(8) turns a year of eligibility into a step up through the portal transfer for a graduate season at Niagara University Purple Eagles.

The 5’11” 181 lbs. forward will take a college career best 15 goals and 17 assists in 26 NCAA D3 games to a much tougher style at Atlantic Hockey.

He was very close to a point-per-game player in his 2nd NAHL season with Northeast Generals, scoring 51 points in 59 games.

The 24-year old Billerica, MA native will no doubt continue to compete hard and look for opportunities.

Senior defenseman Zak Galambos(17) enters the transfer portal for a 2nd time after a great junior year at American International College Yellowjackets, scoring college bests 5 goals and 24 assists for 29 points in 36 NCAA Division 1 games.

The 6’2″ 185 lbs. blue liner from Walnut Creek, CA spent 4 seasons in junior hockey, but cinched in with a campaign for Wenatchee Wild, where he helped them earn the 2018 BCHL Championship before committing to his 1st school Minnesota State University-Mankato Mavericks.

He heads to Western Michigan University Wildcats for 2022/2023.

The 24-year old will likely continue to take up his numbers.

Michigan State University Spartans get a good one in the transfer portal from Brown University Bears, senior center Justin Jallen(7) takes a best 10 goals, 7 assists and 17 points to a year of eligibility.

The 5’9″ 185 lbs. plays power forward style was a 20+ goals and assists scorer in his 2nd year of NAHL juniors with Northeast Generals.

It’s definitely the Woodbury, MN native is heading closer to home.

He played his high school hockey at St. Paul Academy USHS-MN, was senior captain and scored close to 2-points per-game.

University Of Maine Black Bears‘ junior goaltender Matthew Thiessen(35) decides to enter the transfer portal and pursue his senior year at University Of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.

The fairly big 6’2″ 214 lbs. net minder struggled on a not so great Hockey East team for the past three years, so for the Vancouver Canucks‘ 7th round pick in the 2018 draft (#172 overall).

He was selected after a stellar season with Steinbach Pistons, where he won the 2018 MJHL Championship and had a best GAA (2.06) with a 28-3-2 record.

The Steinbach, MB native should be able to vastly improve his numbers on a much better club.

Undrafted defenseman Dorian Dawson(24) will take a 4 year degree at Brown University Bears through the transfer portal to University Of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves for a year of eligibility for graduate studies.

The 6’2″ 205 lbs. blue liner unfortunately missed last season due to injury and the entire previous session was scrapped due to COVID protocols, so he’s likely raring to go.

He had 3 assists as a sophomore, but has yet to tally, so hopefully will get that on the board with the upcoming indy schedule.

Through 3 campaigns of junior hockey, 2 in the NAHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, he did manage to pocket 25 assists.

The 24-year old Barrie, ON native is likely to just enjoy the new, snowy environment to play hockey in.
