Curry College Colonels‘ senior left wing Alex Duncan(7) looks set to surpass scoring numbers he set as a freshman at UMASS-Boston Beacons, where he got 6 goals and 8 assists in 24 games.

He somewhat oddly transferred early late season, coming up for 1 goal and 5 assists in 16 games.

The very big 6’4″ 229 lbs. forward has 3 goals and 1 assist in 8 games with a +2 rating.

He never scored too crazy through 2 seasons of junior hockey, but we think the 24-year old from Andover, MA is eyeing a breakout.

 

Worcester State University Lancers‘ freshman defenseman Cam Quigley(23) himself a 1st D3 college hockey goal and 2 assists in 7 outings already this season.

The 5’10” 165 lbs. blue liner ascended his game from 25 USPHL Premier to signing with Thunder Hockey Club for 16 NCDC appearances.

He scored pretty big for South Shore Kings with 3 goals and 18 assists before moving up.

From Quincy, MA, the 19-year old is settling in well pretty quickly.

2nd year right wing Travis Broughman(28) put up some serious ECHL numbers while on loan from SPHL team Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, where he was a better than point-per-game player.

As a rookie of 48 games with Adirondack Thunder, he scored a nice 12 goals and 21 assists to be invited back for a full 2023/2024 season with the team.

The 6’2″ 185 lbs. forward also scored 3 points in 5 playoff games.

He played his college hockey D3 at SUNY-Oswego Lakers scoring 10+ goals and 10+ assists all 3 seasons they played.

From Richmond, VA, the 26-year old has to be smiling for himself just a little.

He continues to add to his totals in the higher league with a new high games at 66 and goals scored 14.

You could say he does so well, his playing rights are traded to Reading Royals, who simply now need to sign him for 2024/2025.

Once again, his number is called and he is heading to Kalamazoo Wings for his next visit.

Rivier University Raiders‘ senior (despite 5 years) left wing Cormac Hayes(10) is off to a hot start, which looks as if it could very well equal college bests scoring with 1 goal and 6 assists in 5 games with a +1 rating.

The 5’9″ 165 lbs. had a high 7 goals and 9 assists in 25 games played last season.

He initially did 2 seasons at New England College Pilgrims, but didn’t figure in potentially  enough games to want to stay.

From South Boston, MA, the 23-year old bounced around high schools.

Northern Cyclones‘ 3rd year USPHL Premier (sometime NCDC) captain, defenseman Trevor Belak(14) selected Wilkes University Ice Colonels as his commit for 2025/2026.

The 6’2″ 205 lbs. blue liner already has a tidy 5 goals and 11 assists in 15 games this season.

He was loaned up last season for 14 games, scoring 4 assists.

From Pittsburgh, PA, the 20-year old will definitely help his new college team win games.

South New Hampshire University Penmen freshman defenseman Ryan Kayser(4) comes over from Highlands Ranch, CO and it looks like the transition is flawless.

The 6′ 176 lbs. blue liner already has 2 goals and 2 assists in 6 games to start his college career.

He played high school hockey locally, but left for SIJHL hockey with 2 years for Wisconsin Lumberjacks.

The 20-year old has to have a little smile on his face.

Hamilton College Continentals‘ sophomore goaltender Aksel Reid(1) has come over from a freshman season with only 1 start at Union College Dutchmen, a seemingly easy transfer.

The 6’1″ 185 lbs. net minder is already impressive in his D3 debut in a 5-1 win with a 1.00 GAA and .962 SV%.

He did 2 NAHL seasons with Springfield Jr. Blues, starting 39 games in his 2nd frame.

The 21-year old from Minnesota, MN is likely just looking to show what he can do.
