Alvernia University Golden Wolves‘ senior defenseman Logan vande Meerakker(46) takes a college best 14 goals and 19 assists in 27 games with a +24 rating to a contract for his rookie season, 2024/2025 with Evansville Thunderbolts.
He joined them upon graduation and didn’t register a point in 3 SPHL games, but then popped for 2 goals and 1 assists in 5 playoff matchups with a +1 rating.
The 6′ 209 lbs. solid blue liner from Dieppe, NB should do well in a full frame and it’s possible the 24-year old gets loaned up.
After an outstanding frame, scoring 18 goals and 19 assists in 54 games with a +4 rating, then another 7 points (4-3) in 7 playoff matchups, he will take these numbers over to the NIHL and signs with Swindon Wildcats for 2025/2026.
Express Hockey Club 4th year defenseman Ben Douglas(24) commits to SUNY Morrisville Mustangs for 2025/2026.
The 5’10” 165 lbs. blue liner worked his way up from 2 EHLP seasons.
He had 3 assists in 27 EHL games last season.
From Holliston, MA, the 21-year old is more of a stay-at-home style d-man.
New Hampshire Avalanche 1st year goaltender Wills Seagrave(30) put up some outstanding numbers in support last season with a 17-1-1 record, 1.54 GAA and .941 SV%.
The 6’1″ 185 lbs. commits to Wentworth Institute Of Technology Leopards for 2025/2026.
He also went 2-0 in the playoffs.
From Huntsville, AL, he does have pro hockey in his backyard, but the 21-year looks to challenge for that starter spot from the get-go.
3rd year center Mason Emoff(17) will take his game over to Italy2, signing with Pergine Sapiens for 2025/2026.
The 5’10” 171 lbs. forward did pretty well, intially with Fayetteville Marksmen before loans called him up most successfully with Greenville Swamp Rabbits, where he had 2 goals and 4 assists in 10 ECHL games.
He went back to SPHL for playoffs.
After successful climbing the EHL junior program, he would head to Mahattanville College Valiants, where he struck for a best 11 goals and 13 assists in 26 games as a senior captain.

From Cumberland, RI, the 5’10” 180 lbs. forward 21-year old will do well for his new club.
6’6″ 216 lbs. defenseman Jacob Modry(2) signs a 1st pro deal with Savannah Ghost Pirates, where in 3 ECHL games he’s like having a lot of fun, but also has a 1st assist.
He finished up college with 2 years at SUNY-Plattsburgh State Cardinals after maybe two underwhelming frames with Merrimack College Warriors.
As a senior, he tied his best 4 goals and got a new high 19 assists, 23 points in 28 D3 games with a +21 rating.
The 24-year old from El Segundo, CA will need maybe just settle a bit to find his team.
He started 2023/2024 with Newfoundland Growlers, but after 20 ECHL games with 2 goals and 2 assists, he gets shipped to Greenville Swamp Rabbits, which is probably the best landing spot possible for the big man on wheels.
No points after 22 games, but he maintains a nice +6 rating on accountability and they easily see something there to continue working with and sign him up to stay in a Swamp Rabbits‘ sweater for 2024/2025.
Rivier University Raiders‘ graduate right wing Cody Rumsey(71) pots a 1st goal of the 2024/2025 season in his 7th game.
The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward, who transfer a year of eligibility after 4 at Franklin Pierce University Ravens, where he scored pretty well in 3 seasons.
From York, PA, the 25 year old did 3 years of junior hockey in the EHL, scoring 40 points in 42 games in his 3rd frame before heading to school.
In a last season, playing 21 games, he posted 5 goals and 4 assists and signs a 1st pro deal with Binghamton Black Bears of the FPHL for his rookie frame, 2025/2026.
