University Of New England Nor’easters‘ senior center Dawson Ellis(7) transferred in after his 1st 2 frames, playing few games at Adrian College Bulldogs.

The 5’8″ 150 lbs. forward has 2 goals and 2 assists in 14 games, while he had 3 goals and 5 assists through 24 games as a junior.

From Trent Hill, ON, he did 3 years of junior hockey for Wellington Dukes, taking his game up with each session, but winning a 2018 OJHL Championship in his first session.

The 24-year old plays hard and is a fun watch.

Northeast Generals‘ 2nd NA3HL year defenseman Colin March(4) commits to Northwood University Timberwolves for 2024/2025.

The 6’2″ 194 lbs. blue liner has a junior career best 10 assists and 12 points and his 2 goals are just 1 off pace through 27 games with a +12 rating.

From Richmond, IL, the 20-year old is definitely heading closer to home for his college hockey and should be a welcome part of the ACHA.

New Hampshire Avalanche 2nd year goaltender Antoine Robidoux-Hurtubise(30) commits to Misericordia University Cougars for the start of its’ D3 hockey program for 2024/2025.

The 5’11” 170 lbs. net minder is 10-4-1 in the current session through 15 games, putting him on pace to play a most amount of EHL games, but he’ll have to continue to work to outdo those 2.57 GAA and .914 SV% though not impossible.

From Laval, QC, the 20-year old will be a nice addition to kick off the new team.

Connecticut College Camels‘ freshman right wing Quinn Kennedy(27) leads the team with point-per-game numbers at 3 goals and 8 assists in 11 games with a +6 rating.

The 6’2″ 174 lbs. Silver Spring, MD native played his youth hockey in his home state, then went on to sign with Maryland Black Bears of the NAHL and start with them, leave for the USHL, return, then get traded in his 2nd season to Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks.

He plays a strong power forward style and should continue to find points as he plays.

The 5’8″ 150 lbs. forward transferred in after 2 years at Adrian College Bulldogs, where he appeared in just 4 games, scoring 4 assists as a sophomore, and was a member of the 2022 NCAA D3 Championship.

He did 3 junior seasons for Wellington Dukes, winning a 2018 OJHL Championship in his 1st year.

From Trent Hills, ON, the 24-year old is a good watch.

South Shore Kings‘ 1st year defenseman Thomas DelFarno(18) commits to Tufts University Jumbos for 2024/2025 after a USPHL/NCDC season scoring 1 goal and 10 assists in 27 games, so far.

The 6’1″ 183 lbs. blue liner played his 1st season of junior hockey in the NAHL for Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, but they are mostly a terrible team in that league.

From Lincoln, RI, the 20-year old knows exactly where he is heading to school and must be pretty happy about his choice.

UMASS-Dartmouth Corsairs‘ graduate defenseman Jake Maynard(2) looks to break college high marks tying his 2 goal mark already in 12 games and 8 assists is a little ways from 19 last season, but is certainly still achievable.

The 5’11” 181 lbs. blue liner 1st came east from St. John, IN to play in the USPHL for Springfield Jr. Pics before heading to an EHL season with Boston Jr. Rangers, hitting up 4 goals and 17 assists before heading to school.

Now 25-years old, he’s played his game up nicely as he’s gone.

Wentworth Institute Of Technology Leopards‘ sophomore defenseman Cade Penney(22) transferred in from no games as a freshman with University Of New Hamphire Wildcats.

The 6′ 170 lbs. blue liner agreed to his 1st school after a monster 2nd NAHL season for New Jersey Titans, scoring 6 goals and 24 assists with a +30 rating.

From White Rock, BC, he came down quickly to develop his hockey sense for school, but also did junior hockey time in the USHL and BCHL before heading to school.

In 15 games with his new team he has a 1st collegiate goal and 3 assists, looks pretty happy, plays the game smart out there in D3.

Boston Jr. Rangers‘ 2nd year defenseman Andrew Haugh(26) chooses SUNY-Brockport Golden Eagles to start his D3 hockey play and further his education.

The 6′ 181 lbs. blue liner has 4 goals and 6 assists this season, which ties him for goals and makes his assists and points as bests of his EHL junior career.

From Macedon, NY, the 20-year scored in high school, so will be looking to bring that forward to college.

Defenseman Taylor Brierley(2) decided to enter the transfer portal and leave 4 years at Union College Dutchmen, where he didn’t get to play in 2020/2021 for Wilkes University Colonels.

From a scoring perspective it worked wonders as he struck for 3 goals and 22 assists in 24 D3 games.

The 5’10” 175 lbs. blue liner had 10+ assists through 2 years of USHL juniors, most recently with Dubuque Fighting Saints.

He will take his new scoring prowess to a deal with Chambery of France2.

The 25-year old from East Grand Forks, MN seems to be starting a little low on the pro hockey chain, but look for him to move up quickly.

In 12 games, he scores 3 assists, but decides to head back, closer to home, signing again with Birmingham Bulls, scoring 1 goal and 6 assists in 17 SPHL games with a +19 rating, which gets noticed and loaned up to Fort Wayne Komets, quite a nicely ECHL landing spot.
