The 5’9″ 162 lbs. forward actually started his college career at Becker College Hawks until that school collapsed.
A Washington, DC native, the 25-year old had 2 solid sessions with Springfield Jr. Pics, amassing 42 assists in 44 USPHL Premier games in his 2nd frame.
UMASS Dartmouth Corsairs‘ graduate left wing Mike Perrone(6) is 2nd on a fairly good 14-9 team in 2023/2024 scoring with a college best 14 goals and 16 assists in 23 games.
The 5’9″ 181 lbs. forward was a decent point-getter in his 2nd USPHL/NCDC season for P.A.L. Jr. Islanders.
From Mount Sinai, NY, the 25-year old may look further.
Hamilton College Continentals‘ freshman center Luke Tchor(27) has a team leading 12 goals and 17 assists in 22 games with a +16 rating.
The 5’11” 179 lbs. forward is mirroring scoring he had through juniors, 22 goals in the CCHL and 19 in the OJHL.
From Toronto, ON, the 21-year old plays on a good 14-7-1 team, and is likely just starting to get his scoring legs under him.
Salve Regina University Seahawks‘ senior goaltender Cayden Bailey(35) transferred from almost no use at Michigan Tech University Huskies.
The 5’11” 181 lbs. net minder played 3 years of junior hockey, mostly notably his last one for Lone Star Brahmas, posting a 20-5-2 record with a 1.32 GAA and .940 in 30 NAHL games.
In 21 games in the current frame, the 24-year old has 2.26 GAA and a .931 SV%.
It will be interesting to see what the Estero, FL native decides next, but he’s stepped back into his game nicely despite time off playing and at least looks like he’s having some fun out there.
Elmira College Soaring Eagles‘ senior left wing Shawn Kennedy(11) leads the team in scoring with 36 points (13 goals and 23 assists) in 24 games with a +16 rating.
He actually scored 17 goals as a sophomore.
The 6′ 190 lbs. forward played 5 years of junior hockey, maybe most successfully his last 2 in the NAHL.
From Cornwall, ON, the 24-year old will be an interesting watch as to what’s next.
Connecticut College Camels‘ sophomore center Cole Eichler(17) has bested his freshman year 5 goals with 7 in the current frame but needs a few helpers to equal that 7 assist mark.
The 6′ 201 lbs. Toronto, ON native plays a full power forward style.
He’s been a tad streaky scoring through youth hockey and high school, but the 20-year old looks to have found most of his stride in this D3 hockey frame with his impressive, hard working team, who have won some pretty big games this season.
Western New England University Golden Bears‘ junior right wing Brayden Patricia(13) has a new college best 6 goals and 6 assists in 19 games.
The 6′ 194 lbs. forward entered the transfer portal to come over from 2 years of very little use at Norwich University Cadets.
From Lopatcong, NJ, the 23-year old was a well over a point-per-game scorer in the EHL for 2 seasons.
We think he continues to connect and push it further as a senior.
Middlebury College Panthers‘ senior defenseman Ryan Pineault(37) has put up a college best 5 assists this season.
The 5’9″ 165 lbs. blue liner transferred from little use in 2 years at Holy Cross College Crusaders.
He did no junior hockey, heading straight from Westminster Prep USHS-Prep to further school.
It will be interesting to see where the 22-year old from Glastonbury, CT decides next.
Endicott College Gulls‘ senior defenseman James Davenport(14) traded out 3 seasons at Northeastern University Huskies, where he played 6 games in each of his sophomore and junior frames.
The 5’11” 185 lbs. forward wasn’t scoring points in Hockey East.
Through 13 games, in the current session he has 2 goals and 6 assists with a +8 rating.
The 23-year old, Natick, MA native seems looks pretty happy playing hockey out there.
Could he go for a year of eligibility?
Western New England University Golden Bears‘ senior center Matthew Dougherty(97) may not have quite the junior season he had after entering the transfer portal and coming over from 2 years of underuse at Stevenson University Mustangs.
Last year, the 6’1″ 185 lbs. forward had 7 goals and 15 assists in 26 games. Whereas, this year he’s struck for 3 goals and 8 helpers, so could get close to his best marks.
He twice ran up more than point-per-game numbers in the USPHL Elite and Premier with Richmond Generals.
The 24-year old, originally from Philadelphia, PA is still playing well for a team that doesn’t win enough games.
