A Swampscott, MA native, the 21-year old played his high school hockey there.
He’ll need to take it up a notch for CCC tough D3 play.

UMass-Dartmouth Corsairs are getting a heck of a 2023/2024 commit in 3rd year USPHL Premier Florida Eels center Collin Patterson(29).
In his final frame, the 20-year old recorded a junior hockey best 38 assists and 70 points, but was one off his 2nd year 33 goal high.
The 6’1″ 185 lbs. forward is from Melbourne, FL, so will be leaving the nest so to speak for college.

Assumption University Greyhounds‘ 2023/2024 commit, left wing Jonathan Surrette(9) will easily be one to watch as a D3 freshman in the NE-10 conference.
The 5’10” 209 lbs. forward lit up his only USPHL/NCDC frame for Boston Junior Bruins with 22 goals and 20 assists in 49 games after earlier igniting Philips Academy Andover.
A Woburn, MA native, the 19-year old looks ready to make an impact.

Welsleyian University Cardinals‘ senior defenseman Emmett Powell(2) signs a 1st pro deal, heading over to Finland’s 3rd highest league Suomi-sarja to play for JHT in 2023/2024.
The 5’10” 181 lbs. blue liner spent the last 4 years at school, but they didn’t skate the COVID year 2020/2021, so he split to join South Shore Kings, which turns out to be his only USPHL/NCDC junior hockey frame, as he went straight from Milton Academy USHS-Prep to college.
From Marcellus, NY, the 22-year old seemed to take to the New England area nicely, but is now off on a whole other adventure.

Suffolk University Rams‘ 2023/2024 commit, right wing Carter Schram(44) will definitely be looking to contribute as a freshman, as he did in his 2nd and final year of junior hockey in USPHL Premiere with the top notched club, Charlotte Rush, hitting more than point per game numbers at 17 goals and 24 assists in 38 games.
In the previous session, signed to an NCDC tender, the 5’11” 181 lbs. forward skated for Twin City Thunder, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists in 42 games.
From East Lansing, MI, the 20-year old is going to help his new college team win more games in their tough compete CCC division.

4th year NAHL junior, defenseman Blake Arneson(7) commits to St. Mary’s University Cardinals for 2023/2024.
The 5’10” 190 lbs. blue liner has never really put up points, but did in his 28 games for Minot Minotauros, when he connected for 2 goals and 9 assists with a +7 rating.
From Red Wing, MN, the 20-year old should find some room to score in D3 hockey.

Johnstown Tomahawks‘ Czechia/US native, 2nd year left wing David Matousek(16) takes identical 25 point NAHL seasons to a 2023/2024 commit at Plymouth State University Panthers.
The 5’11” 170 lbs. forward started his early development away, but came to the states relatively quickly to gain footing.
At 20-years old, he should be ready to step in as a freshman and play some hockey.

Maine Nordiques‘ 1st year defenseman Sterling Wolters(55) established his game nicely, scoring 3 goals and 17 assists with a +12 rating in 56 NAHL games after coming off a good OJHL campaign for Burlington Cougars.
The 5’11” 183 lbs. blue liner makes his college commit for 2023/2024 and will head to the always competitive SUNY-Geneseo University Knights to fight for a roster spot.
From Cottam, ON, the 21-year old will be one to watch playing hard at his D3 school.

Metro Jets‘ 3rd year high scoring center Alex Schaumburger(14) will next take his game to Adrian College Bulldogs for a 2023/2024 commit.
The 5’10” 181 lbs. forward will be a nice freshman add to the program that took it all the way to the D3 Finals last season.
A Canton, MI native, he was a good scorer from sophomore year forward at Salem High School.
The 20-year old is likely just ready to get started with the next chapter in his life.

Stonehill College Skyhawks‘ freshman defenseman Ryan Davies(5) had a decent 1st year with 1 goal and 6 assists in 24 games of a mostly D3 schedule.
The 5’11” 176 lbs. blue liner committed after a solid EHL season of tier 3 juniors for Valley Jr. Warriors, scoring 3 goals and 14 assists in 42 games.
He also did a COVID shortened season with South Shore Kings initially but a different route to achieve a similar goal maybe.
We feel the 22-year old from Arlington, MA continues to grow into his game with good results.
