After his 4th season of junior hockey, defenseman Caleb Price(25) commits to Lindenwood University to start his college hockey and further education.

The team will compete in DII hockey for one more season, but elevates to D1 for 2022/2023.

He played most of his youth hockey close to home, Hocksett, NH with Northern Cyclones 16U/18U AAA and one year in the USPHL/NCDC program with the team before being drafted for the NAHL.

The 5’10” 165 lbs. blue liner spent 50 games with Jamestown Rebels, grabbing a best 16 assists and 20 points with a +21 rating but also went up the chain to play 6 USHL contests.

He would spend the next frame up in the higher junior league, skating for Lincoln Stars, who selected him at #26, but was traded to Youngstown Phantoms to finish out the session.

His next stop was supposed to send him to Arizona State University, but decided on another year of juniors with New Jersey Jr. Titans, where he fit in nicely, getting 6 goals and 13 assists in 46 games, a +10 and found his new school.

The 21-year old will likely find space to play and grow his game.

University Of New Hampshire Wildcats 2021/2022 commit, goalie Jed Baliotti(35) had a few dynamite seasons at Berkshire School prep and one with East Coast Wizards 16U AAA, which caught the attention of the college.

The fairly sizable net minder at 6’3″ 185 lbs. net minder was next scheduled to play for Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL but maybe thought differently to go so far from home in CT with a pandemic raging, so signed with Northern Cyclones of the USPHL/NCDC to play closer to school.

He didn’t have much luck on an up and down team going 2-5 in 8 starts, but seemed to pick up his play nicely come playoff time to a 1-1 record with a 2.76 GAA and .917 SV%.

When the 19-year old finds space in that crease to perform, he’s likely to step right in.

Connecticut Oilers captured the second Eastern (Junior) Hockey League Championship.

Down in the best-of-5 series 2 games to 1 against reigning champs Northern Cyclones, they rallied back with two convincing victories.

Starting goalie Michael Tilford(1) stopped a monumental 64 of 65 chances in the deciding final contest and Phil Kreuser(10), who was set to be a healthy scratch but played, scored the game-winning goal.

The Oilers had to beat some tough competition sweeping an always tough Walpole Express team and regular season best Philadelphia Little Flyers, who lost only three games in regulation during the 2014/2015 campaign.

Their efforts earned them a very well-played and deserved title.

Daniil KulikovAfter three seasons of tier 3 junior hockey in the US, Russian-born left wing Daniil Kulikov(43) will go back home to join MHK Spartak and play as a 21-year old before looking for a job in the pros.

He won the inaugural 2014 EHL Championship with Northern Cyclones last season.

At 6′ 170 lbs. he’s always been able to contribute on the score sheet wherever he was playing juniors.

He’ll have to up his game when he returns to surroundings he may be more familiar with but looking at his history and numbers there’s definitely a good possibility it can happen.

First he’ll have to get into skating some games with the team, which he has yet to do through 4 contests.

Wheeling Nailers‘ center Tim Doherty(37) was recently claimed off waivers after being released by Allen Americans, where he played 12 ECHL games scoring a pair of assists.

In his debut with his new team, he scored a goal and has already surpassed what he did previously, popping in 3 goals, an assist, including a multi-point effort and +3 rating.

The Penn State University Nittany Lions‘ graduate spent the previous four seasons at University Of Maine Black Bears, where he produced his best numbers as a fourth year player (although he didn’t play in his freshman frame), scoring 14 goals and 23 assists with a +14 rating.

He definitely did ok at his new school during a very COVID busted 2020/2021, but did pick up an additional 8 goals and 10 assists in 22 games.

The 6′ 190 lbs. actually originally committed to Brown University Bears after two sessions with Junior Bruins Premier but then added another year.

At 25-years old, the Portsmouth, RI native may find himself a good hockey home for the time being in West Virginia, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens after the season concludes.

As it turns out, he had such a good run after the trade to Wheeling Nailers, scoring 7 goals and 2 assists, he re-signs to stay for 2021/2022.

He would have great totals in his 2nd frame, scoring 17 goals and 28 assists in 65 games.

As 2022/2023 is set to get started, he’s involved in a trade that sends him a little closer to home, Maine Mariners.

In a no brainer move, Chicago Wolves sign him to an AHL contract for 2023/2024 after he absolutely blew up scoring with 21 goals and 52 assists with a +15 rating in 69 games.

We definitely predict he does well at the higher level.

Not sure why, but he spends his 1st 10 games of the new session back in northern New England, running up 8 assists in the process before getting himself traded for future considerations to Hartford Wolf Pack.

He is reportedly heading to their affiliate Cincinnati Cyclones.

Through 21 games, he pots 5 goals and 9 assists with a +1 rating and maybe gets a little bored, so signs with SG Cortina of AlpsHL in maybe a little oddball of a move to potentially set something up bigger over there later.

Undrafted third year center Stephan Vigier(28) has decided to take his game overseas, signing a one year deal with Lillehammer of GET-ligaen for 2016/2017.

The small and feisty 5’9″ 167 lbs. forward put up career high numbers last season with South Carolina Stingrays scoring 24 goals and 26 assists for 50 points in 68 ECHL games with a +11 rating, then added another 6 goals and 5 assists in 19 postseason contests.

This was his second visit with the team he joined after 4 successful years at Northern Michigan University, where he was named assistant captain as a junior and senior.

In 8 games to finish off the 2013/2014 season he notched his first 5 pro goals and an assist.

As a rookie he would sign his first deal with Cincinnati Cyclones and come out of the game decently potting 14 goals and 14 assists, while also getting a pair of helpers on his first and only loan up to affiliate San Antonio Rampage for 6 AHL games.

To start his sophomore season he signed with Toledo Walleye but that only lasted 2 games before heading back to the Stingrays.

The 26-year old should do very well in Norway.
