Colorado Avalanche 1st round pick in the 2019 draft (#16 overall) Canadian-born center Alex Newhook(18) agreed to Boston College and is in his first season scoring 4 goals in 8 NCAA games to start.
The 5’9″ 174 lbs. forward was top scorer as captain of Victoria Grizzlies amassing 102 points in 53 BCHL games and voted the Vern Dye MVP Memorial Award.
It is quite possible this 18-year old rookie may not last 4-years at his university of choice.
