Braden Doyle (17)

Northeastern University Huskies‘ freshman defenseman Braden Doyle(17) has a 1st NCAA Division 1 college hockey goal and 7 assists in 18 games with a +7 rating.

The 5’11” 181 lbs. blue liner is a Los Angeles Kings‘ 6th round pick in the 2019 draft (#157 overall) and averaged 20+ assists in 2 USHL junior seasons with Dubuque Fighting Saints.

A Lynnfield, MA native, who played up through the USHS-Prep circuit, initially agreed to head to Boston University Terriers, skated 8 games, but decided to leave north to join Penticton Vees, would register point-per-game numbers en route to a 2022 BCHL Championship.

The 21-year old definitely looks like he’s found a good space with his current college team and we could see him lasting the full term before turning pro.
