Sacred Heart University Pioneers‘ 2021/2022 commit, goaltender Brandon Milberg(1) was discovered before putting together a ridiculously low 1.12 GAA and .954 SV% through 8 USHS-Prep games with 3 shutouts in his 2nd year at Lawrence Academy before having to opt out for shoulder surgery.
That was after putting up almost equally crazy 2.28 GAA and .920 SV% marks in 13 contests as a freshman.
The 6’1″ 181 lbs. net minder next joined his junior club for a single season before reporting to school but unfortunately wasn’t able to gel with Islanders Hockey Club of the USPHL/NCDC, although it appears he had one outstanding playoff appearance.
It would not be surprising to see the 19-year old, almost 20 compete for the starter job in net for Atlantic Hockey.
