Giant 6’5″ 220 lbs. Canisius College Golden Griffins‘ graduate defenseman Brendan Datema(57) finishes up his studies and turns pro, signing for the remainder of the season with Atlanta Gladiators.
The senior year transfer from Michigan Tech Huskies, but played little there.
He’s not exactly the biggest point getter and through 3 ECHL has no points yet.
We think he can come away as a big presence on the blue line and someone that can generate offense.
