5th year center Brock Higgs(92) takes his game back to Slovak Tipsport Extraliga re-signing with HC Banska Bystrica for 2018/2019.
He was first with the team in late 2016/2017 after leaving Atlanta Gladiators and helped them win the 2017 Slovakian Championship while scoring the most goals (9) and points (22).
For last season he skated for Graz 99ers of EBEL grabbing a very decent 18 goals and 20 assists but was a bit of a dreadful -14 rating and has decided to move on.
The 26-year old will likely find success once again in the league and it seems likely he’s positioning himself to move up to better hockey.

After skating out of the gate quickly he leveled off, finishing his first pro experience with 16 AHL games played, scoring 3 goals and 3 assists with a +2 rating.
It wouldn’t take much time after the start of free agency for him to pick up his first contract.
Not seeing any higher league options, he signed for his first season with Reading Royals.
Something went amiss though, because he would last only 11 games (1 goal, 3 assists) before being traded for future considerations to South Carolina Stingrays.
His term would last. After only 9 games despite scoring 3 goals he was dished for cash to Fort Wayne Komets.
He wouldn’t settle there either, because after another 10 contests (1 goal, 2 assists) he was put on waivers for release.
With their playoff hopes on the slide, Gwinnett Gladiators stepped in as his fourth team of his first season to sign him to a deal.
Maybe with zero pressure, his luck was due for a change, as he stuck with this club for the remainder of the schedule and connected for a goal and 7 assists in 11 games.
As his sophomore season approaches, the 23-year old has decided to stay in Georgia for 2015/2016 with the Gladiators.
If he can stick and start hitting the score sheet with more frequency like he did late last year, he should earn himself another look up the hockey ladder.

Undrafted center Brock Higgs(13) signed an ato to join Worcester Sharks after completing four years at R.P.I.
He struck for a career high 14 goals and 30 points in his final season serving as captain of the college team and earning a finalist nod for the Hobey Baker Award.
Generously listed at 5’11” 185 lbs. he definitely looks to be much smaller but is a tenacious puck seeking missile and knows how to get himself into the open areas for scoring chances.
He’s showing off his skills quickly.
In his first three AHL games he already has 5 points and is en route to a three-game point streak, including two multi point efforts.
The 21-year old notched an assist in his debut and followed it up with a pair of goals and then another tally and helper in his third appearance.
Where this hot start leads the future rookie will be interesting to monitor, but a smart forward thinking team is probably making inroads to get him under contract for the 2014/2015 campaign.
