Philadelphia Flyers‘ undrafted 3rd year right wing Cole Bardreau(9) extends for two more years as his entry level deal expires.
Although he did better on the scoresheet as a rookie (13-17-30) in less AHL games, he was able to remain healthy to appear in 72 contests last season.
The 5’10” 193 lbs. forward spent four years at Cornell University and previously two in the USNTDP but seemingly had to rehab an endless stream of injuries and never quite put up a load of points.
He was on a pair of WJC Gold Medal teams in 2011 and 2013, so knows how to win.
With 4 fighting majors to his credit in each of his two campaigns, it shows he’s unafraid to step in to help protect his teammates.
The 24-year old today (happy birthday!) is likely looked to possibly fill in an agitating fourth line role with the big club and will likely see some time in the NHL to see what he’s got in the upcoming year.
