5th year center Colt Conrad(79) takes a pair of decent AHL frames for Henderson Silver Knights to a deal with Fischtown Pinguins for 2023/2024.

The 5’10” 183 lbs. forward should do well in Germany’s highest league, DEL.

He was a big 32 assist guy in his 2nd season, reassigned to Newfoundland Growlers.

The Brandon, MD native also did big assists 27 and twice had 15+ at Western Michigan University Broncos.

At 26-years old he played no junior hockey, heading from his senior year to college hockey.

Thank you for bringing attention to the career of former WMU Bronco Colt Conrad. As a fan of WMU Bronco Hockey I follow our players as they move forward in their careers, chasing their dreams. A few things not mentioned that could clarify the summary: Colt spent his first two years under an AHL contract with the Toronto Marlies, his first full year playing primarily with the Growlers and second with the Marlies. After that Colt played two years with the Henderson Silver Knights. Also, in his Senior year at WMU, playing in the NCHC, arguably the toughest conference in NCAA Div. 1, Colt was tied for second in points at 38 and tied for first in assists with 27. He finished at WMU with 136 games, 41 goals and 69 assists for 110 total points, and a .8 points per game.
