Daniel-Bagenda

Undrafted 3rd year Swedish-born left wing Daniel Muzito-Bagenda(19) returned to his country after two years signed by Rochester Americans.

He initially agreed to a tryout with AIK of Allsvenskan but was recently upped with a one-year deal.

The 6’1″ 200 lbs. forward spent his rookie season in the AHL scoring 9 goals and 6 assists in 61 games but was mostly bumped down to affiliate Cincinnati Cyclones for his sophomore campaign, where he was a point-per-game player striking for 19 goals and 27 assists in 46 ECHL games.

He did most of his junior hockey close to home and even appeared in 7 games in Division 1 as a 16-year old but did come over for a year with Mississauga Steelheads of the OHL after playing 4 games for MODO.

At still only 22-years old, it seems like he’s waiting for a bigger breakout at a higher level.
